Its not the heigth or the length, it's the thickness that forces you to cut the bumper. So the answer to your question is no. However, I am now offering an air water intercoller kit that comes with a alluminum water tank 750 gph water pump heat exchanger, 6 x 9 air water intercoller. All it requires is the battery to be relocated to the trunk and it comes with a relocation kit. This is for all you guys that what the stock look on the outside.
Few Q's...
Standard psi on turbo ?
What uprgades are suggested to run it safely between 9-10 psi ?
And finally, Catylst, did you dyno yours at 9 psi ?
If yes, whats the output HP & TQ wise ?
If no, estimated then, running that boost...
Thanx

Another thing I forgot to ask is, since I'm planning on buying this kit, very soon, as I have posted before somewhere on this forum, im trying to go all turbo-motor on my EX. So i'm looking for some parts, so far, no luck, except the forged pistons.
Can somebody point me in direction where I can find following parts (thats if anybody is making them)
I need:
Rod
Rings
Cam
Retainer/Spring
FRP Studs
Any chance of finding that anywhere for D17 ?

Well, i made 165 whp and 166 ft/lbs at 6 psi with my stock exhaust. when i changed to a 2 1/2" exhaust, i gained a very noticable amount of power. I am estimating that i am somewhere around 175 - 180whp @ 6 psi. At 9 psi i think that you should be somewhere in the range of 210+. As for upgrades, i would recommend a clutch, headgasket, shotpeend rods, and pistons/rings. I dont know if you would have to have springs/retainers or a cam to run that much boost, but i am sure that it wouldnt hurt.
The standard psi will be about 6.5 - 7.5 psi. Since any more than that may render the stock clutch useless.

oh yea, as for parts, i do not know where you can get them. I know SCE makes an awesome copper head gasket for them, but they recommend o-rings on your head for maximum protection.

Just to let you know, if you had a 0.466 reaction time you red-lighted. You need to open that exhaust up, thats a major restriction on your power right now. Make sure you get that new clutch asap, it will make a the starts better. Also upgrade your brakes, its very common to see people have power adders, but leave thier brakes stock; a big no-no. Oh and what tire/rim combination do you use?

My car is completely stock except for the turbo kit. And i did get my exhaust done, it is now a 2 1/2". I work at a muffler shop, so i did it myself to ensure the best quality. And i am working on getting a new clutch.

the BOV i have is the beta version of the one that will come with the kits later on. The Turbo XS, from what i hear, is pretty damn loud. I know that if you get the Turbo XS RFL, it is really F***ing loud (hence the RFL). I am not sure if SF is gonna give that option for you guys, but i am sure he will say something in response to this post (won't ya Mike?).

Why wait for something that will be more expensive and inferior?
i guess there are people like that, they just dont trust everyone on the site that saw this kit.

How about you start your own new thread on the drag kit instead of whoring up on this one.

You need to work out those issues that you have. I simply said if there is any info available it would be great for everybody, dosent cost or hurt to learn about something. Check yourself man.

Well I talked to ben@importparts.com (Largest Distributor of DRAG Parts) and he said the 2001+ Civic kit will be here mid-summer. Also I really like the SFpower turbo kit, and I am not doubting his or anyones credibility, but I think 3500 is a little steep for a turbo kit, if the DRAG kit is going only to be around 3000. I know 500 dollars is a big difference to me because I am in HighSchool and only make 7 dollars an hour...Well I just wanted to clear that whole credibility issue up! Props to SFpower for actually taking time on 7th gen cars to make a kit!

SFpower still isnt sure about the retail price. Prices change with demand. The higher the demand, the lower the price usually is. Look at small block chevy stuff, it is soo much cheaper than import stuff because it has a much higher demand rate. So if there is a high demand for this kit, i dont doubt that the prices will drop.
