Didn't need any stinking handbrake Sunday night/Monday morning.. just a virgin parking lot
But yeah.. was nice weather today save for the rain. At least I got some work done on the car.. now to figure out at night if it was worthwhile or not. But damn is she filthy. Felt so bad leaving her like that but I'm lazy.
Only time will tell though if the hassles were worth it....

Seriously when I see a 7thgen with some mods, I check to see if it's someone I know... Yesterday, when I saw a silver 4 doors with Altezzas and Hondaground stickers that was slowing down the traffic, I was begining to figure it out... and after seing the projector up front in my rear mirror... I realized who it was...

I got a 19mm RSX bar and I am happy with it, cheap and efficient upgrade. However, if you don't have an OEM sway bar already on the car, it will be more expensive (you will need a kit to install it)... Does the 2K2 have a rear sway bar???

So check for a used RSX sway bar. It will be a simple mod, but your car will be more fun to drive!
P.S. It will have a larger diameter... like... a man finger... you should feel the difference!!!

Maybe you'll need to go at Chassel because they are tough to find locally...

I just saw that: (EP3 parts)
http://forums.montrealracing.com/sho...=1#post3054428
If it's a 17mm and the guy want to sell separetely... it can be a good compromise!
On the other hand, 500$ for a 4 disc brake conversion is a good price for this kind of swap! Interested Karim?

500$ .. not quite. Do believe it can be gotten for cheaper. But in any event, don't have the funds available - and not completely sure I want to go that route anyways.

Since you have a 25,4mm bar up front, I suggest to go with the larger bar, it will help to reduce the understeer of your civic.
BTW call Chassel first. I think Karim got is front sway bar for 45$ or less from them, so a rear bar should be it this price range too...

Don't buy the front bar of the RSX... the RSX front bar is 23mm. You have a 22.2mm bar (according to the chart). See if you like the handling first with the 22.2/19 combo. You may want to change to the "classic" combo for our car: 25.4/19. However some persons prefer the 15.9/19 combo. I used to be 15.9/19 (then I switched to 25.4), but with that combo the car is oversteering, the driving is more fun, but may be dangerous on wet surface! So I went safe and installed the 25.4 one.
However I have the RSX front bar in my garage, I want to try it this spring. Some say that the car feel more neutral with a 22/19, so 23 should be okay too. I'll (and you'll) see what I prefer.

Some said that 22/19 will be a nice set-up to have a "balanced" car. And if you think about it, some people run the 25.4 OEM front and Comptech 22mm rear and they love the handling (25.4/22), so with 19mm rear bar a 22mm up-front should be ok...
So it's up to you...
BTW if you decide to go with the 25.4 front bar, and plan changing your exhaust for an aftermarket one in the future, look for a SI bar! DX/LX bar don't clear the cat of aftermarket exhaust, while SI does!

Civic sedan 2001
RSX 2005 (non type-S).
If you are not in a hurry, I might sell mine, if I prefer the 23mm once installed.
