Those are great prices in my books.. definitely a lot less than when I bought

Though the beige seats might be slightly less than the blacks (or at least in my opinion), in any event, it all depends on the look/usage of them. If they look extremely beat up, it is understandable for their cheaper cost. Also, without the airbag assemblies (though useless for us) looks cheaper as well - what with a hole on the side of your seat. My $0.02 on that matter...

So since you are having fun looking for pieces and all, go find stuff for me Though I don't know what exactly I want, go look anyways Well that isn't entirely true, more than likely going with a lip kit - just haven't decided on which one, though leaning on not going OEM to give more flare to the whip....

Everytime I tried these type of seat, I felt like a fat bastard!!! My back and shoulders are sqeazed and I am really not confortable, I don't see myself doing long trip in them... I guess they make different size for them... I hope!

Maybe I should just stop weightlifting... ...

If I were you I will stick with RSX, EP3 or S2000 seats or a brand-name seat.

These low priced racing seat are not confortable, I don't know if you travel a lot, but you should look for something confortable... And if you are stuck in the traffic jam on Décarie on a cheap seat, you will cry...
They are selling a lot of cheap racing seats at low price because young tuner like the look of it in a car... but

But, I am talking over my head, cause I never changed my seats!!! Maybe they are confortable...

Hey guys,

the stock 7th gen civic comes with an imobolizer. Does it also come with a basic alarm? If someone breaks the windows and unlocks the door using the insied latch will it trigger the car to repeatedly sound the horn?

While doing some clean-up in my garage, I realized that my RSX-S custom exhaust set-up is going well... I almost have everypart I need. See:

DX/LX Kamikaze header + Custom 2.25" downpipe + RSX-S cat-back.

I am just missing a 2.25" high-flow cat and maybe an another O2 sensor that I will modified to fit after the cat, since I want to keep my OEM stuff untouched.

what do you think?

it will look like this when completed, a better-than-OEM-sleeper-looking-better-flow-exhaust :

I guess cheaper since they are not in leather... but they seem to be more rare on the market...

what about the non-leather RSX seat, do they have the same look? Are they in the same material than the civic OEM seats?

ha ha, thanks !!!!

Hope you enjoy the parts.

It's very stupid that the car comes with the keyless entry and imoblizer and no simple audible alarm. It's such a simple thing to put..... freaing Honda!!!!! The new Civics comes with the unlock lock button integrated on the key, so it's really "degoutant" to have to use unlock and lock buttons from the alarm key fob instead.

Well... expect to pay way more, because I had incredible deals on each part. But, you look good to have great deal also!!!

Kamikaze header = 100$ (that one is an incredible deal! Usually sells at 250$ used!!! Thanks Jamie!)
RSX cat-back = 75$ (another good deal! usually around 100$ just for the axle-back).
Custom down-pipe = 35$

I expect to pay 60-100$ for my high-flow cat and 40$ for the 02 sensor. Installation... we will see!

So for 300$ I will have a complete exhaust! Almost the price of a cheap ractive cat-back!

Here another shot, to ensure you are wet!!!

Welcome back!

I might go see NoRedline to weld and install my exhaust... They are (he is?) on the south shore and according to you, he is the best!

Do I get a special rate if I say that I was refered by you?

FaZe (Will) I thought was eventually selling his kamikaze header .. if/when he is still going at a3 route that he talked about before. Meh, been too long since we talked, so

Though just to say what a shop should say, you might want to go to Honda to buy new/fresh gaskets Hans. In the very least the header gasket. Though I don't see how you are going to modify another 02 sensor ... or rather, don't see why. As aren't the two sensors for the LX in the header/top portion and because Kamikaze is a direct bolt-on for LXs because of that fact? Though in any event, don't see how you'd keep it OEM - options in my head would be to extend the wiring to reach or simply to get a bypass/02 simulator to fool the system. Not my car so I shouldn't worry I guess

Though I can tell you that NoRedline doesn't like working on our exhausts/headers at least. As well, Alex had bad experience working on Jim's if memory serves.

Yeah I want to keep my OEM stuff intact, just in case... my car is rented, I intend to keep it, but we never know... So I don't fell like splicing the OEM wires. So, I want another O2 sensor to extent the wire on it instead... maybe if I can find the right connectors, I can fabricate a "extender" that I can fit between the OEM sensor and the computer (or whatever). I already plan to get some gasket from the dealer...

Finally, since I want a real cat I want the O2 sensor to do what it is intended to do. No simulation. So I will install the O2 sensor after the cat and will block the second port on the header.

Try speaking with Jim about it .. all I remember is that Alex didn't like taking out our headers because of the last bolt. Had an issue with Jim's and stripped/broke the lug and had to go through the head and clean it up.

I was believing that the header removal was a walk in the park... since some people do it in their drive-way. Maybe, he was unlucky... Murphy's law!

I'll sure check with him anyway!

Indeed, Alex had a tough time with a stripped exhaust manifold bolt. It basically requires to remove part of the a-c- and/or power steering. Anyhow, I doubt he will want to take that install job, I guess I'm very privileged at NoRedline's.

The shop is full! NoRedline Motorsports Racing Team, which I am a part of, is actually building 2 EK race civics for the 06 Hankook Touring Series. No wonder I have not been on this board for a while. Not sure yet if the 2 cars will participate or if 1 will be a backup. Check out for us cuz we'll kick a$$!

Your best bet is definitely a muffler shop, they are well equipped for the job and it's not like they have to build you a race header from scratch, it's just putting the line together. My 2 cents.

We weren't unlucky, we were lazy and tried to do a job without removing what had to be removed. Luckily, we had to take the head off anyhow.
