i have a stick in my car...and only because it saves gas, it's sportier to drive, and im not gay,,lol.....
but there are times i wish i could have an automatic for just 30 minutes (traffic)
i dont hate on ppl who have automatic though...
just the losers who cant' drive stick...and just wanted a civic cuz they saw it on fast and furious

Okay, so check it out... I'm actually gay and I drive an 2002 Civic EX with a manual, and I wouldn't rest until I found it. I searched for months on the internet and stuff till I found one I liked. So its not like all gay people can't drive stick... I know quite a few.
But other then that, I don't think that I would ever get another automatic after driving a 92 Suburban and 93 Accord LX, I find stick is wayyy better. Well, until I get older of course.
And to the people that say driving stick in traffic, for a little back ground. I bought my car without ever driving stick before in my life. I knew how, but I had never even done it before. On the third or fourth day of owning my car I decided to go to my friend's house 25 miles away, and on the way back I got stuck in traffic on the highway, my leg has never hurt so much in my life. However, after a month I was fine and pain free in heavy traffic. So I just say suck it up, deal with the pain for awhile and it'll eventually go away.
There is one thing I kinda wonder about and was wondering if anyone would know, when I bought my car it had about 69,000 miles on it, and not ever driving stick before I didn't know how hard my clutch was until I test drove some newer cars, but I recently got a new clutch put on about a few days ago and its alot easier. Does the civic clutchs usually get harder to press down over time? Or is it just because it maybe was a clutch from 2002 or something?

Anyways, my Civic is an auto. Bought it while my wife was pregnant. It is boring as hell and I miss my 5-speed Prelude which I got rid of before I moved. Anyways i'll never buy another automatic. Although it is useful in Honolulu rush hour traffic.

theres nothing wrong with having an auto. a part of the population just doesnt want to have to deal with manual gear changing. everytime i step into a auto car i'm always looking for the clutch before i start it then i realize its an auto.
ok well i got a manual trans that i just purchased is there a difference between a EX and LX manual trans? EX has shorter gear ratio is that it?
