and i want to feel like IM driving the car. and with an auto i feel like it decides a hell of a lot more than it should....
auto's are for lazy people or dont understand the concept fully....and not just knowing how to shift...

I love MTs but my wife refuses to learn.
The other problem is Fredericton is in a river valley and it is damn hilly, so in daily driving it would drive me nuts.
The BIGGEST problem is I LOVE to drive and I would be in so much crap with the speeding tickets that I would lose my license again.
Ticket stats: 7 tickets: two biggies, 3 warnings, 1 suspension and 1 appeal
From first to last infraction: Aug 1992 - Oct 2003. The bulk of them were from 1992 - 1998.
If I had a 5 or God forbid a 6, I would be screwed and only allowed to drive on an oval.

it's really fun except for traffic (doesn't that burn out the clutch faster???)
but yea, just like another member said, i wish i had an auto if i was parallel parking on a very steep hill (don't you other manual drivers find this hard also??)

raced my brother-n-law he had a stick 95 civic stock, beat him on take off, caught up to me when we were in our last gear and proceeded to pass me and i couldn't do anything about it.

Rep Power: 0 For 20 years i drove stick cars and i loved them ..BUT the last 2 cars were autos and i enjoy them as well now !! And as much as i drive i got tired of changing gears all the time ! Ill leave the sticks for the younger folks lol Lance @ The Houseofpower.com
