Manual. . I had and Auto and was bored, didn't feel like I had as much control, and I like the instant shifting ability without having to wait for the car to figure out what you are trying to do.
Of course I'm not going to say for a second I wouldn't be all over a Tiptronic auto.

Rep Power: 291 The way I look at it is civic arent fast so why not atleast make em fun to drive and get a stick, I didnt even know how to drive stick when I bought my car but I thought am I gonna be a ***** the rest of my life and get an auto or be a man and learn how to "actually drive"

Rep Power: 0 hey vinrock, think your funny don't you? you know it's pretty sad when another member on here thinks it's funny when someone says somethin that was obviously dumb at the time simply cause that's what their opinion was. next time you try to make other members feel dumb think about what you're doin before a member with a mod friend makes you look even worse by changin all of your stuff to make you look bad.
I have a 2002 auto EX. I guess I don't mind it, but my next car is definitely going to be manual... For you guys that used to have auto's, but made the switch; how did you learn how to drive stick?

Rep Power: 286 Manual. I've driven auto since I was 16. I'm 24 now, and I finally got my own car in manual. I must say, I hate driving auto. Auto is so!! boring. Driving stick is fun, you have more control over the car.
ive been driving my moms auto matrix xr for 2 weeks now and i feel like killing myself because its so boring. not having a shift **** to play with while driving is making me go insane. i miss my manual.

i learned off and older car with someone that knew how...get the basics then try it on your own...

Manual is almost like a part of my body now. I get in a car and immediately go for the clutch pedal. And in an automatic, I'm like.. wtf?
Now that my parents and I are looking for a newer car, they KNOW that I want a manual tranny to come in the next car.
