The driveability symptoms are:

1. Rapid RPM "cut-outs" at high RPM, like 2K on up
2. Gradual power decline, seems to be related to length of time the car runs. By 5 minutes, you can be standing on the gas pedal and not moving.
3. Needs additional gas input to start back up.
4. Revs fine.
5. Has backfire-ish sounds on deceleration.
6. Is a delay in speed between pressing the gas pedal and engine revving/car moving (is not instant, except almost right when cold.)

In the meantime. For my Honda help. I guess we are waiting on me to verify timing.. might as well do compression and MAYBE vves while at it. I been burned on touching them before..

January 28th, 2016: Year 2000 D16 Y8 from a wrecked car.. purchased. I sure hope it was wrecked from the rear.
