I got my car to 115 last friday but the govener kicked in... that is the first time I got it up to that speed. I got a 40th anniversary vette up to 142 easy... that was fun. Kids shouldn't drive vettes to prom. lol
I have a 2001 lx, no mods just a 2.5 drop.. also I could only get to 110 before the drop.

Rep Power: 0 I have an '01 EX i was clocked by OHP doing 130mph about 1 1/2 yrs ago. He couldn't believe what he clocked me at and by the time he had another reading on me, I had already hit the brakes and was down to 117. He wrote my ticket for 101 though, thank god.
Here is some data for your guys from my bonneville runs in my 01 LX.
With 202WHP (dyno tested), a psycho front air dam, a huge *** rear spoiler (not a wing), the grill blocked off completely, the side mirrors & windshield wipers removed, small tires at 65 psi and a 5" drop my car hit it's terminal velocity at 164 mph on level ground. Same setup but with 150 WHP has its terminal velocity at 151 MPH. BTW, my factory speedo was off by over 20 MPH according to FIA certified timing traps.

wow nice... well not my top speed but i went to 97mph with my 01civic ex... i had lets say... 4 people in my car including me... around 600 lbs in my car... i stop cuz hitting close the the stoplights lol... but hey i was happy that i can pull off round 100mph with 3 other guys that are at least 150lbs =D
well dropping your car can increase speed only when your at high speed lol and to me high speed is not 150mph... so yea... but u get better aero dynamics... and when your car is lower... i heard peps say its like your car is getting lighter, like less gravity pullin g on it lol... correct me if im wrong, n im only 17 not a physics teacher

Do you actually think your 'family-gas-saver-grocery-getter sedan/coupe can reach 150mph? Mods dont make you topout more, it give you more HP/TRQ, but after i certian speed, the limiter taps in. You guys dont not own a s2000 or type-s, hell even a sI. For those who have told the truth, big ups... I dont see why the rest of yall have to lie to make yall self look good online. Why you think people mock the honda and civic name, cuz coments like:
"my o4 ex coupe topped at 145mph and i was only 6500rpms, I could have easily done 155mph"

That's exactly what im talking about 17y/o with 4 people in his car going 97mph... yeah i wonder what the parents of ya friends would have said when there kids died and u suprisingly made it alive.
