Wait thats messed up Im not liying at all i have a video and plenty of friends as witnesses but i never topped out at 115 i took it up to at least 125 at least couple times!!

The cutoff hits around 120 mph. You're not going to hit that 140 on the spedometer.

Rep Power: 0 Actually I own two civics, A 2001 lx sedan thats cuts off at 112-118 and I just bought a new 2004 ex sedan that reached 143 mph. Both of my vics are american specs. I guess I will have to show a pic of the speedo the next time I'm heading that way. I have buddy with a 2002 thats cuts out 137-141. But I also notice the rpms are different at certain speeds between the lx and the ex. I have no reason to lie to you guys. I couldn't believe it myself when it happened. Like I said in my previous message our vics do not have the same hp. Give or take 5-10 hp. The hp is based on an average as with all vehicles.

I heard in Germany you have civic wagons that come with a 1.8 Litre Vtec engine pushing 175 hp. The North American EX Coupe is only 127hp.

Have you done something to your computer to get rid of the top speed limiter. I know I re-flashed my Z3 and now I can go as fast as the rpm's allow. (If I were dumb enough to go that fast!)

in all honestly I swear to god...lol...I've gone 205-210km/h with my ride...I was expecting a speed limiter....I had about 800-1000 rpms before redline, definitly not over 1000...but I got scared of the police...so I just let off the gas...I was really surprised to see my car was pretty stable at those speeds
