If you really want one....killeryoyo has one for cheaper than Josh will and Gearbox is selling one as well. Check the for sale forum....you can get everything josh would have sent you in probably an eighth of the time it takes his slow *** to send it to you.

Cdmx was nice enough to open the stock pulley. Guess what he found? A rubber harmonic dampener in the middle! Josh, yours doesn't have one but it's still safe for a daily driver? Now I'm really confused.
I know people say that UR pulleys are bad too. But I just wanted to tell everone if you go to there site and go to the tuner section, theres a pulley that looks alot like ours, it's a picture of a bunch of block of aluminum. The pulley for our car is $205 or there site.
I bet the pulley made power other places in the power band that you can't see, only way to know is a before and after chart.

Hmm. You don't seem to understand. The DH pulley is not safe for the 2001-2004 honda civic. The stock pulley has a rubber dampener to control violent engine pulses, but the DH pulley does not. Doesn't matter if it's balanced or not--it will still cause damage. Are you willing to risk breaking your new car for a few hp?
Whatever, I've proven my point countless times. DH will no longer be a problem here, and hopefully others will learn from this. I know I have.

No, there haven't been. Lightened crank pulleys are fine on race engines, because usually something will break before the pulley causes damage. It's not instant--engine wear can be seen as long as 15k miles from original install date.
Josh says his pulley is safe for a daily driver when it obviously is not. If you read my long post about this, you would know. Josh completely lied about his product in numerous ways to get our money. Not okay.

I'll let you guys in on something....my buddy has had the UR Crank Pulley on his car for over a year of haaaaaaaard driving on the street and on the track. There is no dampener in that either and he has had no probs. I talked to the service guy here at the local dealership and they said there should not be a problem at all....and they installed it too...So i'm gonna give it a go.

That sucks about the rubber dampner, I appriciate the worn and course I belive it to be true, I'm a mechanic just 6 years under my belt though so I still listen to all advice. Ok then, how can we do something absorb the vibrations, I mean I paid for this thing now, I wanna make it work, because otherwise that really sucks, I'm still optimistic, I do appriciate all the help though-Ershall and gearbox...
Does anyone know about the dyno i used?
I think it shouldve been higher
think adding a lil backpressure with the silencer wouldve helped me out/

Dynos are pretty much the same I thought. Why would you expect it to be higher? Those mods you listed would maybe give 10whp, and the pulley probably 1-2 like you said. Stock EX dynos between 100-110whp. Numbers look fine. I bet with a vacfII you could boost that number a little higher, probably to 120whp.

I thought so too there CDMX, doesn't an EX like mine start with 127hp @ 6500 RPMs? Those were just some measly numbers, there had to be something not calbrated to a front wheel drive car or specifically the Civic year model and trim, cause that doesn't seem right-
01 Civic EX dyno stock ... all the old members have seen it so this is for the new members with their 127hp stock 7thGens - don't hate on me I have one too! - not 106hp tho 8)

I'm beggining to think that the people who always say that suspension is the best mod you can do to a Civic are right. Look at all this hassle witht he pulleys, exhuast, intakes and so on... for what, like 4 hp? Definatly not worth money:hp.
I think the only mods I would spend my money on is nitrous or boost which seem to be the only mods that show real gain.

oof, that sucks, why would the sticker advertise that then if it is not actual? That sucks-

Like the motor is creating 127hp but it looses like 22-27hp in the drivetrain

Meaning if the pulley gets .001 HP it works and the web site didnt lie.... because of the way its worded "as much as"
its just something that is misleading if you dont think about it. a marketing ploy.

You guys are worrying too much about how much hp our cars make...It's about how fast it will go....the guys here in Canada that i hang out with all have 7thgen lxs that run 17.3 stock, did intake, HP header, downpipe, custom exhaust, and are now running 15.7....My slow *** four door lx runs 16.2 and i know will hit 15s with my new AEM V2 and new o2 sensors (that were fried when i ran 16.2). So don't worry about hp numbers, unless you go turbo or NOS...
