they work, but you gotta beat the fvcker on with a hammer to get it on the crank..Just is not giving refunds so either put it on and risk damage, use it as a shiny paperweight, or sell it for like $50 and take a loss...your choice.
Why cant Josh give a refund. If his pulley is so great, cant he just take it back and sell it to a bunch of other people? Horrible customer serivce, has anyone else complained to the BBB? I know its just 110-150, but, just for the mere fact he jerked all of us pisses me off. I hope every1 here complains to the BBB on how he STOLE our money. Any manufacturer that does not take refunds on parts that are still NIB, obviously doesnt believe in their own products. DH-Racing are a bunch of fvckers, and if I lived around the Las Vegas area, id make sure to pay them a visit.

most of us were told that it would be fine with a daily driver and would not cause much lose of ac and ps with the dual groove , but then after the fact people found out that without the rubber piece acting as a damper , then the life of your engine will decrease and you might have problems within 15k miles. its a matter of false advertising on the part of how much hp it was supposed to yield, yes its a custom part and yes we all ordered it but at the time of ordering we werent told that refunds are not anoptin and so forth, just so many things were left out.

I remember his first post about the pulley, saying it's been tested and that's why it was being offered to us. What a liar. Now I'm finding out that my port work may have been done incorrectly. Rscivic lost 16whp after the head was put on with turbo.
The underdriving of the alternator got me last night. I was dropping off this girl I'm trying to hook up with last night and we were sitting in my car talking when my lights started to dim then eventually the car spazzed and died. Got a little charge from my friend and he left and we talked more and my car died AGAIN! Well, long story short I just stayed the night at her house and I now have a new girlfriend
. So I guess that pulley was good for something ^_^.

Wooooo! Awesome story. Good thing the battery died a second time
Maybe you just can't let the car idle, or the alternator won't make enough power.
Maybe you just can't let the car idle, or the alternator won't make enough power. That's what I'm thinking. Might tighten the throttle cable up a little bit to make it idle a bit higher. If I put my foot on the gas just a little last night when the lights would dim they would come back on full power. So I think that might solve the whole 'car dies when idle' thing.

Also, the alternator or charging system has a thing where at idle it will kick it off or something. I noticed it when I'm sitting at a light and the voltmeter is reading 12V, then I turn on the heater or press the window switch and it goes back up to 14. In your case, the voltage may be dropping too low in this safe mode, and then the battery starts to drain. If you really want to keep the pulley, then I suggest a group 51 optima yellow top battery. It can handle discharges without a problem and won't cause the car to die.

Yeah, all of us need to file with the BBB. I'm gonna do it in the next few weeks, when I'm not so busy. But it really shouldn't take very long.

Well, since the beating of the dead horse has begun, I just wanted to add one more thing about Josh and DH-Racing. Last Friday, I got my crank pulley sensor replaced, and some of you may remember that Josh offered me a FREE crank pulley sensor to replace the one that the DH-Racing Pulley messed up. Well wouldn't you know it, the sensor he gave me looked NOTHING like the one that came off of my 7thgen. This really pissed me off cause I drove all the way to Lancaster (about 140 miles round trip) to pick it up. Just goes to show what kind of a person Josh is. He'll get what's coming to him in the future though. I'm just glad all this crap is behind me now.

So did you get a sensor that fits your car from somewhere else? I hope you got everything working.
As for the alternator, it should work. But they will be expensive and a battery should be a good solution as long as you're driving around to recharge the battery after idle time.

Did you guys really expect Josh to suddenly become a good guy and take leaps and bounds to make us repeat customers? The only reason he refunded Prod was because the products were dirty and there were metal shavings in the PnP prior to installation. If he hadn't refunded Prod then he would have lost in court...that's the bottom line. Plus, alot more money was involved. Josh is acting in the hope that nobody will take him to court and pursue any other legal action with this pulley....but I think the BBB complaining may be a good idea.
The reality of all this is that Josh and DH suck at customer service -- ironically so when you all remember Josh saying his CS would smoke all others. Something that you may consider doing would be to contact your CC company, bank, or paypal to see if they are willing to help you out. I hear of deals where ebay members get ****ed over and paypal takes action. They take the money out of the bad business man's account [DH] and refund you after a period of time (90 days or so I think). This is what numerous members on this site had to do when Circa took their orders, told them their product was backordered, refused to refund them, and wouldn't answer the phone.
As someone allready said, 40 BBB complaints speaks 40 times louder than one BB complaint....and it seems that this is all we can do to warn the public about DH...that is aside from kicking Josh/DH the hell off of 7thgen.
EDIT: In regard to taking legal action: For the most part, small claims court alone would cost is about as much as buying the pulley did, and this is why I think Josh won;t refund us...but we can take action that is free: BBB and CC Company or paypal is we paid through those mediums.

well guys, after about 2 months of waiting I finally got the pulley. I am going to throw it on tomorrow and then hit the track on Wed to see how good it works and if I don't notice any reasonable gains or if I start having problems then I will sell it on ebay or "use it as a paperweight" like some of you have said.
