CAI reccemendation for 04 Civic EX
I am seriously looking at installing a cold air induction on my civic. Do any of you have a reccomendation of a particular brand? I looked on ebay and they had several in a wide varity of prices. I want an all weather type so I don't need to worry about water. Does anyone have a picture of their CAI they would be willing to share?
Thanks

Search around on the site, everyone asks questions about cold air induction. Everyones always asking about what gives the most power, and from your previous thread, you said you wanted milage gains per tank. You should try to reformulate your post so people dont attack you for asking the same stuff everyone else with less then 10 posts asks.
you got your ebay intakes, and your name brand intakes. name brand- you know what your getting. ebay intakes are a roll of the dice, and you'll have to change the filter anyways because its a POS and wont filter the air very good for your engine. a flter is what, 40 bucks... plus a 40 dollar intake, your looking at close to 100 shipped I guess... thoes prices might be just a tad high, but you get the picture--> For the same price you could buy a name brand, higher quality (then ebay) intake for the same amount.
anyways, happy searching.

This is what Triz meant by "search".
And, your post contradicts itself. If you want "an all weather type", you're looking for a short ram, not a cold air. The "CAI"s are the one's that have the "water problem" you mentioned, aka hydrolock.
