Cold air intake Is there any decent companies out there who make a cold air intake for an 05 civic lx sedan? I find stuff on ebay but I think they might be lying about the application. I'll go to the website of the company and see that they have nothing of the sort.
there is no real difference in an intake. you can say that ebay intakes are crap but for the money you pay for a name brand your not getting anymore power, so whats the use. i have an ebay intake on my car for the past 2years with no problems at all. it did exactly what it was supposed to do by relocating the filter to a place where it can intake colder air. your not going to see but maybe a miniscule difference in power but nothing that even a butt dyno can see.

Rep Power: 0 i've done that and found an aem, but then i went to aem's website to see if they offer one and they don't... so how can somebody on ebay have an aem cold air for my type car if they don't make one themselves? is it possible that the 2004's have the same exact set up or an 05 dx has the same engine?

Rep Power: 476 i believe the dx isnt vtec, im not really sure though, but all 2001-2005 civics are the same engine, d17, not sure which one isnt vtec though like i said, if there on the ebay site than they do fit, but if u want to spend $250 on just the name AEM than do it, i bought an ebay one about a year and a half ago and it sounds mean and does all the work its supposed to do and i spent like $80
