I've just recently realized that my AEM CAI makes a high pitch noise.. Is that normal for the AEM CAI?... only when i first accelerate.. after that, it goes away...

oh man, i LOVE that sound, when the car is cold and so is the intake tube, it makes the greatest noise up until 3grand, the loudest hissing noise, it sounds like a damn turbo..!!! IT RULESSS....but it only does it for me for a few minutes until everything warms up [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

I have a hissing noise in my AEM CAI too. I dont know what it is but Ive checked all the seals and they are tight. Did you also notice that when you turn the engine off you can hear the hiss of the air release.

I love the sound that my intake makes at about 3K rpm. It adds a whole new growl to my car.
