I noticed another post inhere about cai to sri but vice versa... well anyway I have an automatic and for some reason I bought the injen CAI... after hearing about the hydrolock issue and the fact that AEM chose not to make an SRI for the auto 2k1 civ I sorta want an SRI now.

here are my options...

1. sell the injen CAI (unused) and buy an AEM sri but I can't find a place that sells it less than $200

2. it comes in two parts right? Can I jsut put the filter at the end of the first piece and make a psudo-SRI?

What do you suggest I do?

I know they do but I jsut ordered an injen CAI 2 days ago. I was wondering if jsut using half the piping would work the same or I would jsut have to sell the CAI to buy the SRI... do you know where to get an SRI < $200?

You can probably use just the one piece if the filter location ends up in a place where it will fit. I don't see why not.
