Also i guess ill have to get a shop to paint it. The only thing about shops is that they try to scam you sometimes. I just hope they put the clear that i ask them to.

What's up, I'm back from the dead. I was super dissappointed about last weekend, I was all ready to head to Ruston when Wes told me they gated off the airstrip. Anyways, when the next show is here, I'll try and make the one in Minden and Shreveport. I just need to do something with my front bumper desperately. I just swore I wouldn't waste my time painting and repairing it again but I may have no choice.

sam - why paint the hood ? it just looks so damn good without white sides. and it's the best quality hood i've seen to date. i could do it , but i just don't want to be the downfall of such a nice hood.

andy - good to see your back from the dead. yeah we were all a bit disappointed about the airstrip being gated up . there was gonna be a crap load of people there.

the show in greenville , mississippi , is on the 15th and 16th of May . they have a big cruise on friday . so it's a full weekend event.

got my safc2 today and rims and rotors should be here beginning of next week...

"I went ahead and told SF your kit goes out first!!! They are just taking an actuator off anothor car and putting it on your chrome piped turbo kit and sending it out asap! See, I told you I would take care of you. So you should expect it soon. Plus the first guy who was local picked up his kit this weekend!!!"

so I guess I'm just waiting on a tracking number...just know I turned down a particular job for the AF b/c I'm not getting shipped off without enjoying my boosted D17 for a while...we'll see and I'll keep you guys posted

Either SF was lying to him or he is confused. There is no actuator that needs to be put on your "chrome piped turbo kit". That makes no sense. The only actuator is the wastegate actuator that mounted to a bracket which is welded onto the compressor housing of the turbo. Don't hold your breath......

i think that he just ment that the actuator was being put on his kit and he just specified the color of the pipes when describin his kit..that is what it sounded like to me...

anyways, fixed the oil leak from the piece of crap SF oil return flange...buddy of mine made me a new flange and bong out of stainless, so no leak from that anymore...now i just have a leak from the gasket that i put on the oil pan...it had a little oil on the gasket, and with the preasure, it pushes the gasket out of its seal, so i have to take it all back off and clean everything back up and redo the gasket....i am just tired of messin with it....i think that i am going to have my mechanic do it monday and i take his truck to work.....


green...i already have tires...i got some nitos...and getting bf drag radials when i get si wheels from my buddie...only getting the si wheels for the front though

Good luck using your car without oil. You wouldnt good too far. If you want to blame something, the gasket is to blame, not the oil.

hahah, my car has been leakin oil ever since i put on the kit.....just a little...and just a little now....it isnt even enough to matter...i am just tired of it all over my garage floor....i am going to fix it today....and if it leaks after that...well then, i am going to weld the oil pan to the block...and beg that mug to leak....hahahha not really,

i bought a new one...but when i put it back up, it had a little oil on it...the surfaces had oil on them, and i had a brain fart and didnt think to clean them, so when i put it back together, the oil on the gasket didnt allow it to seal correctly....but i am fixin it


just got finished installin my safc2...it was a butt to do...very very tight area to work in...

remember when i was having problems with my synapse missing link...well i fixed it...it was just the little filter that comes with it...i lost it...emailed them, and they told me that it doesnt work without the filter...so i made one out of a piece of mop foam and it runs like crazy...perfect starts...and it pulls 10 times harder than the crap sf check valve...i would recommend this to all that are planning on boost
