Are you lean or rich? That is the reason I don't like the mf2. So why are you trying to sell the kit now? Is it because of the problems you're having? Just wait it out, you'll be glad you did. I really wish you would have waited for me to help you with the install, I could have helped you avoid alot of these problems.

Happy bday Jody

Green-I didn't decide against the d17. I need cash now for bills I'm way behind on from not working. I paid around 5 g for the turbo setup and gauges and am very limited. A k20a2 swap can be done for under 4. With under a grand in bolt ons, I'll probably be quicker than a boosted 7th gen. Then with a k24 block with raised compression, I'll be running 12's. It's just more cost effective now that prices have finally come down. Power is much easier to make.

Sam and Cliff, I would hate to see you guys working on a car together with nobody else, that would be hilarious, lmfao.

Nate-I may try and sell the motor. As is, I have another d17 with a cracked ring land. So if I go k20a2, I may sell this motor as well....to soon to tell yet.

Don't be mad at me because you used the wrong oil pan.....
It doesn't take a master mechanic to know the pans are different.
Good luck getting the lx pan off after using all of that honda bond.

I'm not trying to be mean but if you ask me for advice and don't take it, you deserve a little flame.

I'm not an expert but I know alot about motors and turbos (my wiring expertise sucks a$$ but I can admit that.) It is alot of trial and error but if you have someone who knows what they're doing, why would you not invite help? I could see if noone wanted to help you (like the problem I had in Colorado) but I was willing to drive to Ruston to give you a hand but you couldn't wait, so you half-a$$ed the. Doesn't matter to me what you do with your car, understand. I just think the only place to put any blame is yourself for trying to shortcut instead of doing it correctly-not me for being a *****.

Nothing was half assed. Just the oil pan was a problem. Its not rocket science to put a turbo on. Thanks for offering ur help, but i got the turbo on and running, oil pan was the problem and it wasnt half assed cuz thats the trial and error part (to see if that bitch fits and works).

I mean since ur an expert and ur car overheated with you water cooled ****, trial and error, dont ever get a side mount, dont take short cuts, get a front mount.

That makes no sense. Like I said, I didn't have any help offered to solve my problems, I tried warning you against using the wrong part before you ever started the install. Didn't want to mess with your daily driver? Too late, you already did. Hopefully you won't have done any damage but if you kept it and worked out the tiny bug you have now, you would enjoy it alot more, it's definitely worth it. You just have to want it and keep the end result in sight.

Ok, let's end this here. I'll be as plain as I can.

I'm not pissed at you for being impatient. It makes no sense to me that you would ask advice on something and totally disregard it, then ask for help again after you didn't take it the first time. That does **** me off. Don't waste my time asking me questions if you aren't going to listen to what I say. What am I wasting my breath for.

The remark about you and Cliff was in fun. I wasn't trying to say you don't know anything about cars, but seriously, how many threads have you posted in the fi section from the date that you got your kit in the mail.....at least 5, back to back. I have no problem with that, post what you want but when you ask that type of remedial question after trying to install the kit, it makes you seem incompetent. I am not saying that you are, but honestly, that is exactly how you have made yourself out to be. I honestly have no idea how extensive your knowledge of mechanics goes, it doesn't matter to me what you know. Don't take it offensively, this isn't necessarrily the truth but it is an observation.

As far as talking about you behind your back....to who? What did I say that was so terrible that I haven't posted in this very same thread? The only other people I know that know you are cliff and wes. If someone is telling you that I am talking horribly bad about you, someone's not telling you the truth. Like I said, everything that I've said about you to anyone, I have already posted in this thread, so I'm sorry if you think that qualifies as talking behind your back......

So do what you have to do, I'm done with this discussion. I won't respond to it again.

questions were reguarding the oil pan. thats the only problem i was worried about. im sure im not as good as a turbo install as u of course but do i care, NO! Some people are good at 1 thing and others are good at another.

And i dont care what u say about me or anyone else, its just words right, who are u to me, not to be mean or anything.

End of discussion!
