no jet, you dont need either....the revo ss is a short shifter....it is a gear shift assembly and it reduces the shifting pull by 40% and the actuall shifter lenght is 2 inches shorter....the synapse engineering missing link is also and upgrade to your car....it will replace the sf check valve for your map sensor and provide better boost transition and get rid of all the hiccups
The revo ss is a nice upgrade from stock. I got one. Been having it in for a long time. I just have the stock **** on there. Your really cant tell its a short throw shifter until you start driving the car.
Yeah, I'm ordering all kinds of goodies today. Let's see, I've decided to go ahead and order the missing link, revo ss (I pm'd Grey about upgrades for it), lx gauge cluster (doing a swap from the dx) and getting ac s7 indiglos, man those gauges are hot....check em out here.

Just gonna announce my existance here with the other Louisiana 7th Gen'rs. Just bought an 04 Silver VP Saturday the 1st. I know people tell me I should have stepped up to the LX, but I had to roll over a couple thousand from my last car since the trade in was less than what I owed. Thankfully I did get a 5 speed so I'm not to bad off. Regardless, I'm glad I'm in a Honda.
Welcome to the site, noobs. WTF is a VP? I guess that must be an 04 thing, I heard someone say there were no dx's in 04 but oh well.
Nate-If you're around, I talked to Wes today and he told me about you're poor motor. But depending on when you plan on doing it, I'm always down to lend a hand, we can have it swapped in and out within a day as long as you ladies want to work, lol. Something else I recommended, you should get a decent clutch in there while we have the motor out, it's much easier to do when you already have the motor out of the car and have to put the tranny on a new block anyways, so it's something to think about.
Wes-I want to see this manifold with titanium runners firsthand when you get it done. I also want to know what he'd charge to build one for me. If the price is right, I'll bite.
No new news on the repairs for my car yet. I'm having an impossible time finding a xenon front bumper. It seems like everyone that has something for sale is super flaky about it and they can't seem to ship it out. It's like "oh, I have this for sale, contact me" and you get in touch with them and they're like "oh, I can't ship it today, it'll be tomorrow, wait, tomorrow, oh, next week" and all the while I'm wasting my damned time because I don't want to drive with no bumper. Grrrr, some of these little kids on this site have no business behind a keyboard <end rant>
But on a positive note, I'll be getting lots of goodies in this week and I plan to have the car back to 100% by Friday so we'll see how it goes.

Long story short, it's bascially a rebaged DX. 5 speed tranny, no power nothing, no tach on the cluster, Factory A/C and CD Player. Not bad for $13k.

to all the new guys , welcome. i'm nathan from alexandria . i have a yellow kitted '02
andy - yeah , as soon as i get the new one i'm dropping it in . right now i'm going back and forth with the insurance . they have to send out the adjuster , to do what i don't know , unless it's to look at all the water in my intake manifold, but whatever . i mean unless he has x-ray goggles he aint gonna see **** anyways . hopefully i can get around $3500 or so out of em . i can get another block and head for around $700 , and put the rest toward building the other one. hopefully being the key word. yeah , i'm just gonna wait and put in a clutch when i get the built motor back.

Well, I've made my decision, I'm going oem front with a lip. Just trying to decide on which lip to go with. I'd like a cf lip but I'm not sure if I can get the one I want......
Ok, new updates:
Should have everything in hand by the end of the week.
I picked up a new oem bumper today and it should be painted by Thursday. I'll also have my interior trim pieces done being painted by Thursday. My new gauge cluster will be here Wednesday. The Revo SS and AC S7 indiglos will be here tomorrow. I also ordered a lower grillcraft grill to match my upper and that will be here Thursday as well. I ordered a wings west g5 front lip like Sam's and I should have that by Friday. I'll have it painted and hopefully I can install it mid next week sometime. And that takes care of everything except for....
The SF water tank. I had a good feeling at first but as time has gone by, the feeling has gotten worse. I know he has all of the parts he needed to build it (or at least he said he did) so I don't know what the holdup is. I can't get ahold of him today for some reason (go figure) so I'm just going to have to let that part play out and hope for the best.

As far as reppin 7th gens, I had a fun little discussion/ flame war with the Shreveport kutsuju president and everyone on sni thought it was amusing and was all about putting him in his place. I like sni, lots of knowledgable guys on there.

More updates, more fun....
Thanks to Wes, I happened to find a WW g5 front lip for 75 bux! All I had to do was meet the guy in Natchitoches. Well worth the drive, thanx Wes
I went ahead and dropped it off to my painter as well as the oem front bumper. Everything should be painted and ready to go on this Thursday. I'll be getting the revo ss, lx gauge cluster and ac s7 gauges tomorrow and putting them all in. Not sure when my missing link will be here but hopefully it will be soon. I also ordered both of the revo upgrade kits from Grey (basic upgrade to prevent play in the ss) and CapYoda (aluminum bushing kit for even less play.) Those will probably get here sometime towards the end of the week or mid next week and I'll put them on when I get a chance.
Only thing left is the water tank for my ic. Who knows what will happen with that. I have been trying to get ahold of Mike Stafford but he's dragging his feet still so I have no idea when I'll even see that thing. I'll update as things start happening.
