It's called "blue fiberglass." It's not as durable as urethane but it's not as breakable as regular fiberglass, check it out here. I love that kit, I'll have pics up by monday hopefully!! I can't wait.

what the hell happened to my baby!!!!!!!! they shut us down boys...... THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN. i am surprised that we got away with it for that long

Ryan dropped my turbo off at some shop to clean it up. he told me that they will dip it in some kind of solution overnight that will clean it and wont hurt the seals and he said that when it comes out that it will be ****bling bling****

doing some cutting and welding to intercooler this week. told me that we could put it on next week and just put a filter on the other end till we slap the turbo on there. talking bout some serious cold air intake. intercooled cold air intak

Pearl, id love to help you drop your car, but I have never done it or even seen it done. I mean, i can help you, but i may not be much help.

JWs might be a good place to do it because he said he has a shop big enough for 3 cars. All we need to do is set a date and im there.

Damn, Own3d by BLK!! lol
Do you realize that thread was active for almost a full year?!!
Anyway, at least he made us another thread and didn't just lock the other one without any explaination. So it's cool.

If anyone needs help with spring installs I can help, or do it for you. Me and my boys have it down to a science. We can do the full install in about 2.5 hours. That's from the time we pull the car in the garage, to the time we pull out. We usually do it at my friend's house because he has all the air tools and stuff. But the past few installs we've done at my other friend's house. He's got a 2 car garage w/ a heater in that biach so it's comfortable while we work instead of freezing our asses off. And for the summer.....he's got a big *** pool. He'd probably pay to BBQ too.

Alright, this question might sound retarded, but i just want to make sure. Tomorrow i am going to paint a few things in the engine bay and i was wondering if the color paint that i use, does it match the color that is on top of the can, like a blue cap or should i look for a certain color number? What kind of paint should i use also?

I am also going to paint my calipers blue. Ive never messed with any of that before. Is it hard to remove them?

Here is what it should look like

I used plain old model paint that came in a spray can. It worked fine. Just make sure that you take all the parts you're gonna paint and wipe them down with alcohol before you paint em. For the calipers, you can use caliper paint. Advanced autoparts sells some sort of caliper paint in a spray can. I'm sure Pepboys would have it too. If you wanna clean your calipers really good before you paint, get some of that Meguiars Wheel cleaner (comes in a pink spray bottle). I cleaned mine and they came out so good I didn't want to paint them. lol

it is difficult to get the caliper off or you think i could figure it out?
Also, is there anything else i need to do dealing with the brakes or is it just take off the caliper and put it back on?

Hey Luz, I know people that have left them on and painted them. But if you wanted to take them off it would probably be a bit easier. It's just 2 screws that hold the caliper on. But you'd have to just hang it off to the side and put newspaper over your rotors and fenders to paint. The only way to take it off completely is to remove the brake lines and then you have to bleed the lines when you hook em up again....that's a bit more trouble but it's up to you.

What kit are you talking about? If it's the Aero kit then we're ok......but if you want the regular OEM lip kit then we're gonna be twins. I've been savin up for that kit and I almost have enough. (if I don't have to spend any of that on books this semester ) Maybe I'll get the RS front lip instead. And about those stock rims.....well I'd sell em to ya, but I already sold them to someone else. Sowee. I'll check around town and see if I can't find you a good deal on some.

ok, this is the last question and then ill have all i need.
I read this somewhere but i wasnt quite sure it was true. Whenever you take your rims off, is it best to get them realigned or would it be alright? (and im just taking the front two off)
