Sonic Boom has pretty much a monopoly as probably the only import performance shop in the New Orleans area. They do a good job, its just that they charge a lot and like ripping people off. maybe its a little harsh, but they are quite pricey. I would have suggested Xcess Motorsports in New Orlean's East (yeah, its a drive, but its usually worth it) but they decided to move to Houston i think. Anyways, if you gotta do something to your car that needs a professionals, its pretty much your only choice, unless there's another place i havent heard of. They are reliable and do things right the first time. i got lowering springs done there and i've had no problem w/ them for like a couple of months already.

hey i've been to both places for a bodykit for my civ (i've gotten all that done though) and neither of them offered much help...Sonic Boom was a little shady to me considering the guy told me the greddy evo wasn't made for my model but he could "make" it fit...
and as for Street Styles...well I went there to get my kaminari full fascia kit and the guy told me it would be 1,200 painted...good price...well when i went in to put my deposity down the price went up to 1,600...what did i do...I ordered it and got it painted myself and it came out to 1,100...so either place is a risk and I would do business with both, just don't go on everything they say.

Hey bro, I'm around, just not too often. Oh, just so everyone knows, I won't be coming back in July like I planned. I'll be sticking around to finish out school, so I may be moving back around 05 sometime.....

hey guys, what's hapnin' ? i know the last meet went south at the last minute but what would yall say to having a meet in alexandria some time in july. there are alot of 7th gens around here that would probably be interrested and most likely show up. what yall say ? holla back , nate
Well I'm still around, again, not too often. I plan on having a k20 swapped in by christmas, then....who knows. I'm debating b/w an n/a setup and a turbo. I'm thinking I'll go n/a just for reliability issues, but I still plan to be getting around 300 hp when it's all said and done. Peace.

hey- i bought some indiglo gauges offline, and im getting this man to install them... but i am just wondering... is it a simple process? because it came w/a 5 step instruction sheet, which made it look like a blind person could do, but when i looked it up on this site, it appeared MUCH more difficult.. anyone know?? this guy is good w/cars and stuff, but i dunno if i should bring it to a professional... thanks...
hey whats up? welcome to the site. My name is Jody. We have a pretty tight bunch of people from Louisiana here. Lately we havnt been on much though. Where in LA are you from? Im up at LSU.
I heard that the indiglo gauges were not difficult at all to install. There should be a few topics on how to do it somewhere. Just go under the search section and type in like "indiglo gauges install" or something along the lines. You should find what your looking for.....but if you not real comfortable doing it, id leave it to someone else b/c the gauge cluster is something you really dont want to mess up.
