i don't start tech until the first week of sept. Any fri. sat. sun. before then would be perfect.

Is that a weekday or end? If its a weekend then it sounds good to me. Were just going to meet somewhere and then go to the mall of Louisiana to meet more 7ths? Is this correct? An all day thing? Sounds sweet, but what about meeting at the lake. Its less of a drive, but dont get me wrong, BR is still just as good.
1st & 2nd and 8th & 9th are both fridays and saturdays
the lake would be better for me too, but BR is okay i guess

well, i doubt ill be seein yall on the 1st, 2nd, 8th ,or 9th
got in a wee bit of a fender bender yesterday
front right tire bent in, front bumper damaged, headlight on front right damaged
it was soooooo not my fault cause the other car clearly slowed to make an illegal left turn, then changed thier mind at the last second and sped up, hitting the ****! out of me but i still got blamed cause i was crossing their street
cop said the ticket will get thrown out in court, but i still got damage on the car
thank god they hit my tire and not actually the front or the doors where my friend was sitting
if my dumbass friend didnt yell WATCHOUT! right before the car was near me, i wouldve sped up to miss it instead of looking for what the FU(K he was talking about
, also, if it didnt have that little lag when you slam on the gas
either way, the elderly couple in the other car had ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD to stop, yet made no attempt
now my car has to go to the shop, insurance has to pay for repairs, and i gotta deal with my ASSH0LE friend sayin "you got in another wreck HA HA",

my last accident was because of another assh0le in a beat down *** toyota pickup who decided to SLAM on his FU(KIN brakes for a DIYING *** PITBULL on the side of the street, not even in his lane
coming right off a stop, rear ended him at bout 15 mph not even near the speed limit yet
that was "no bodys fault" according to the witnesses, and the cop,
just "shitty luck" (the shitty and non anti-lock brakes on the corolla didnt help on the gravel on the road either)
that caused my 89 corolla to be totaled
(not hard to do)
and the only good thing that came out of it is i got my civic earlier than i would have, but if i waited, i might have got a better one than the one i did get, who knows, maybe even one without scratches
which reminds me,
does anybody know if they repaint the WHOLE car or just the areas with damage and scrapes from the accident, cause i got PLENTY scratches from cats, previous owner, people at dealership, doors of other cars in parking lots, debris hitting the front on the highway, etc (its like the black just attracts scratches, but hey, i got the car for a damn good price w/less than 25,000miles and perfect interior which is VERY rare for a used 2k1)
i could REALLY use a paintjob and while there at it they can take off the pinstripe too
oh well, thats my rant for now, guess ill go to bed before the sun comes up
but it aint like i got anywhere to go tomorrow

Damn dude. That sucks. Someone backed into my front bumper at UNO a week or so back. I got a golf ball size hole in my front bumper. Its not my fault because the car was parked. I was in class when it happened, so I didnt see the driver. Im going to drive around with that hole in the bumper until I have the money to get a BC2 body kit. I also have the same question about the scratches. Anyone know someone that paints real good and cheap?

i'll be leaving slidell around 6 30 maybe and getting there around 7 30. i think it starts at 5 30. what time can you leave..cuz if you can go earlier i'll just leave earlier.
it was not driveable
the front right tire took most of the hit at about 30mph since the ol' lady that hit me was actually accelerating, not braking, i guess because they didnt see me, i purposely stopped short so they wouldnt hit my doors and maybe injure someone (bumper to bumper/tire is always best) and there was no way i could beat them across
my car actually got pushed sideways about 6 feet
my dad tried driving it but it was like the camber and toe angle was insanely bad
it was rubbing and the tire looked as though it would come off
i dont know when itll be out of the shop and if it's not perfect (i'll know)
then it's going right back in

Sup ya'll. I've been around and lurking lately but I'm still aroung. Anyways, news with my car....I ordered the maxrev turbo but it had some major fitment issues so I sent it back. I've now ordered the SF kit and I'm awaiting it's arrival. I'm hoping it will be here this week by Friday so hopefully I'll have it on by Saturday. I'm not coming back to louisiana just yet, so Michelle and I are buying a house up here and I found work at Progressive insurance. I also got a new puppy, he's a now 13 week old Siberian Husky named Sammy. So if any of you guys want to take a trip up here, let me know and maybe you can stay at my place while you're visiting. Also, JW picked up my extra cf hood and he has put it on his car now....btw, did you ever figure out the latch yet? I'll try and get some pics of the turbo setup and interior gauges and controls when the kit is in. Until later.

really, no offense, but imo id rather do something where i dont have to worry about being shipped to another country and possibly killed

Well, to each his own, the army isn't for everyone, I surely know it wasn't for me which is why I got out. But I'd be lying if I said it wasn't good for me. It was definitely a worthwhile experience. If I hadn't joined, I wouldn't have met my wife, gotten my civic or met most of you guys
