Well i have the tan interior and I dont like it at all. I want to black it all black or maybe even color match my exterior. Most likely i would do it black though.
That would be cool. Why dont you like the tan? I think it goes well with white. You could do a white/CF idea for the interior. It would cost more than coloring it, but the interior would flow with the exterior, with infact will catch a judges eye because of a constant theme. Just an idea.
Does anyone have experience with a plastic weilder(sp)? I have a hole in the front bumper from someone backing into my car with a tow ball. My uncle suggested it and said it would work well. My dad and I are going to go get it this weekend and try to do it. Then if it come out good, I'll need to paint it. Just incase I dont feel comfortable painting the bumper, does anyone have good paint experience painting ABS plastic bumpers?
Thanx and hope to see all of ya'll at the meet next week.

sam - thats cool . just get with me on what all you want done , what kinda paint and all that. we'll just have to meet or something and i can have 'em back to you in a few days after that.
green - the plastic welder is easy to use . just make sure you use the right weld rod or it won't stay together . <--- i messed up on mine the first time. they make a black universal rod that works good on our bumpers.
luzion - i can't remember his name , but the guy with the bagged red truck was one of todd's friends , i think. ***** is this dude that lives in alex. with a kitted 'vic thats bagged. i can't seem to get ahold of him yet though.

what size rims and tires do you guys have..cuz in LA i've had good luck with 17s and 205/40/17 but shitty luck with 215/35/18 on 18's...is it just our roads?? would 225 40 18 make the tire looks much bigger or just wider?...i need some advice, i don't really understand how to read the side of the tire.
DoYong- You should be ok with a 215/40/18. A 225 is wider and the side wall is a little taller than a 215/40/18. The only time you would rub is when taking a corner really fast. Other than that, you should be ok. Just dont take the roads fast around here. Its really hard to see potholes or uneven roads here. Thats how my rim is scratched, damn uneven roads. Are you going to the lakefront meet?
jw- We're going to hog tie you throw you in a trunk and drive down the bumpest roads in NO.
I dont know. What do you want to do?
Squirrel- So the black rod would be the best to use? You weld it from the inside right? My dad has a high pressure/ low volume paint gun. If it messes up, we'll just wet sand it and paint it again. Where would you recomend getting paint? I was going to go to NAPA or Honda to get it. Any other places good? Thanx.

yall know i'll be there.
green - i know they have a black smc rod and a universal rod . i know the universal one works great . it's kinda flat. the clear one doesn't work on ours . worst come to worst , just try a few until one sticks real good. depending on how big the hole is you fill it from the back to make a foundation or use some wire mesh and melt it in. then you fill the rest from the front until you get it where you want it . let it dry , and sand it smooth. don't go to napa or honda unless you get a discount . they will ream you price-wise. if you have an apasco , or car color , or other "automotive" paint store , go there . they give student discounts. college , votech , etc.
wes - we're gonna get you sloppy drunk and take incriminating photos.
