oh by the way, I got in on that group buy for the SF turbo kit...for $3125 shipped I got the base kit with upgraded turbo, alcohol injection, and equal length manifold...SHOULD BE PRETTY QUICK HUH? anyway wes, whovever did your install...all I know how to do is put gas in my car and pass the tools...anybody wanna install wes u know of?

Jet- Try going to a bike shop and find where they get their wheels fixed. One of mine is bent a little. Its not noticable at all, unless you look from the back with the wheel off the car. I'm just going to wait untill I haave to get new tires and then get all done at once. What model civic do you have? Sounds about right. So its being made as we speak?

Wes- When are you coming out to the lakefront with the vic? I can try to find a big meet to go to and meet all of you again. What tires are you getting for the rims?

Yes i am supercharging the tibby! I have it sitting in my room at my house, its a Alipine Supercharger(the only one made for my car as of now). I will be running 4psi of boost, thats what comes with the kit. I should be putting down about 220 to 230 hp to the wheels give or take some. With 4 psi that will roughly be 40 whp. i installed my own turbo..... didnt want anyone else doing it... i will help you out with yours if you want......it just takes some time.....as far as meeting up on sunday... i will plan to be back in ruston around 4:00, not later than 5:00.... it is a 3 hour drive back from my parents....i am getting nanking 205/40/17 for my rims....

im going to get nankang 225/40/18, does anyone think they will rub and im dropped on tein springs by the way (1.4 drop) + sag so like 1.7 or so.....

ive heard bad things about nankang...also, i would go 215/40/18 instead of 225. Less chance of rubbing. Ive had 215/40/18(yokohama paradas) for over a year and havnt bent or had a problem with them yet and Ive hit a few nice holes in b.r. and new orleans

I believe you will have a problem rubbing. Of course I've never heard anyone actually having them and rubbing. I guess you could test it if you wanted to. I think you would be better off with 215's. What wrong with nankang? I have nitto neogens and love them.

freddie - the kit looks pretty nice . good luck on the install.

blu - wes , me and two of his friends put the kit on his car . it wasn't that hard at all . the only real reason it took so long was the fact that we had to rig up a few things since sf didn't send all the parts. and we wanted to get every thing just right .

wes - did you ever get the rest of your goodies from mike ?

sam - the 225 tires are gonna be a bit wider . alot higher possibility of rubbing.

i'm going to lafayette this weekend for mardi gras . don't know what we're doing yet though.

yea, ill go with 215's. Nankang tires seem pretty good to me, ive had them for about 1 yr now and they are doing me good. Now i used to have kuhmo's before and those suck ***.

I've had 2 sets of 18 inch nankang tires and one set of Nitto's...I have nankang now but Nitto were the best HANDLING and GRIPPING tires I've ever owned. Plus the nitto's are a little thicker (taller) than my nankangs...hey sam I would go with 215/40/18...I've got 215/35/18 (with 1.75 inch drop) but I want 40's though...I don't wanna leave any room...I've had 4 people (all at least 160 lbs.) in my car and I've never experienced any rub with 215/35/18's....hey wes, what all upgrades do you have with your turbo kit? oh and whats a good boost controller to get and where to get it? I need a 2 guage pillar also... what all do you have? U're my ginea pig Seriously all I know how to do it unscrew stuff and check stuff on my car...I'll HELP U GUYS out with the install if ya'll up 2 it.

just pmed josh @ dh-racing about building me a motor.... he and i have been talkin back and forth for a couple of weeks about it....together we are going to make my car safely handle 15lbs of boost.... i am getting another d17 and having it shipped straight to them and hopefully have it finished by the end of the summer... i will let you guys now when i have updates,
