I've already installed all my ****
hehehe
actually, the one thing I might install is my harness. I haven't installed that yet.
TooFast: no worries, I won't be bringing my air compressor...just my SPRING compressor. THat way we don't get smoked by a flying spring when we take off the stock springs.
Also, for those who are doing the spring install: I'll try to go to home depot/crappy tire and pickup some stainless steel bolts so that you can align the camber in the front of your car. You'll need to have some sort of kit to adjust the camber in the rear, but for the front, it'll be dirt cheap (don't buy the front kit unless it's under $5 CAD).
oh yeah, besides my harness...I'll probably end up re-aligning my toe. the steering wheel is turned all weird still. dang.

His garage is big but you have to remember....There's an 18 foot bass boat and a Honda Goldwing in there along with a lawn tractor...hehe. I'm sure we could move out the boat and so on if the weather is good.

^^oh okay...i though u were sayin no go...alright just let us know what u decide.
So does anyone else have somewhere somewhat secluded we could go too?? We could always find an empty parking lot and do it there!! that would be worst case scenario, but it could maybe work.
Any other ideas??

kewl kewl, but you gotta keep in mind: a spring install will take a while. Maybe not so long with a lot of people, but it's always nice to have the safety of a garage where you can grab random stuff you didn't think you'd need (like "ReleaseAll/WD40", etc).
crap, just saw the weather...it's supposed to suck *** for the next week
dang.
Shall we postpone to easter weekend? the sat?

no worries. We've waited all winter...what's another week?
By then, I might have my harness installed. So, I can be a 100% slave monkey to do work, and not worry about my car.

^^thats true....thing is next week is exam time for lotsa people...i got some finals commin up and i wanna finish off strong!!! But i guess one day isnt a big deal!! Im just whining cuz i wanted to have it this weekend!!
K guys here is the deal. I need to go to Toronto either April 3rd or 10th weekend for a holiday. So I need to know what week end the install party is on so I can make plans. Also 1 more thing according to ottawa by-law, you are not allowed to work on your car where the public can be affected. So you can work on your property but not on the side of the street or parks. You can work in a park but have to have a permit. Just thought you might want to know. I have been working on our car on the side of the street before and a cop drove by and said nothing. But I think they might have a problem if there is a bunch of us.

hehe...everytime I add to it I forget to take away.
I'm gonna just keep the actual San Antonio/Ottawa sig and the temperature thingy with my two links....the rest will go when I get around to it.

Well guys, I have a suggestion if it is raining out, or if we are still looking for a place to do the install party. Sheena's work has a warehouse in the back (Ottawa Diamond Flooring) and she is going to talk to her boss and see if it is alright if we do some work in the heated warehouse. It's not 100%, well She's pretty sure her boss will say sure, so lets wait and see. I'll post up tomorrow. and we would only be able to maybe fit 1 full car in and the *** or front of another. but we would have some place warm and dry to work. He's a really cool guy, and Sheena says we will have no worries, that he will go for it... but we'll make sure first.
Also, about the camber... I thought you wouldn't need camber if you were dropping less that 2"
Landin>> Supposed to go pick up my wheel and lugs tomorrow (Wed) after work. If it's the right wheel and lugs, we'll make the trip to Deals on Thursday? Holla back!

^^well we will definately try to incorporate ur schedule in the decision process.
dna:the warehouse idea could work, would just suck for those who couldnt do work simultaneously! But its definately a good option forshure!! And as for deals 4 wheels just let me know!! ill either be there to do my wheels or be there to check urs out!!! either way holla at me.
So what do u guys think we should do. Wait a couple of days to see the weather? Make it another weekend? Do the party no matter what the weather?

Update: Figured id let everyone know!! Lip kit is painted and ready for install!! I held the lips up to my car and they looked really really perfect....i couldnt see any mistakes except for a lil bit of clear coat run on one of them that they are fixing! Other than that they seem okay!!! hopefully they match up!! So the kit will be on most likely before the party...i juss cant wait any longer!!
How much would be a spring that's ok with stock shock if I buy in local stores? I might as well get it and install it with you guys it's in a good price range.
edit : doesnt matter how low it is but I don wanna go lower then 1.75

Oh yeah
I just finished redoing my old Headlights, i painted them black, just like lilslow/2fast, but without the Orange piece, i'm gonna sell them. Just though i would offer them to someone here who wants it first

1983: it's because your forearms are gay. start working out.
hehehe jk
could be that your power steering fluid is on the way out. Drive it for a while and see how things go. If it's still like that in a week, take it somewhere to have it looked at?
