1983:yah maybe over the winter ur steering fluid turned a bit slushy or something and maybe it messed up something. I bet if u drive for a bit it will be okay.
Okay guys we really need to take a vote on what we should do
1.Postpone till next weekend
2.Wait a couple days and see how the weather is.
3.Do it this weekend no matter what.

Got my wheels on the Vic. I started to drive on the 417 and the steering wheel was vibrating faster than Caryn's new toy
called up Mike at Deals for Wheels, and he asked me if they gave me a Hub Ring. I said no. (thinking that it was just bad balancing) So I went back to D4W and they put on 2 hub rings on the two front tires, and rebalanced the front wheels. I was driving back home, and it still vibrates like a bitch... specially when I'm going around a bend on the 417 (e.g. just before Vanier Parkway exit) Anyways. I was freakin out cause, well they installed the 2 hub rings, and they re-balanced the 2 front tires, and it still vibrates.
Funny thing is, when I got passed Montreal Rd. the vibrating stoped, and the drive was nice and smooth. maybe b/c the road is smoother?
Could it be the road?? any of you guys with rims get the same thing?. I called Mike back, and he told me to bring it back, that he would get his guys to look at it... he said they will fix the vibration.
either way, the wheels look SICK! just ask Baller ya man post that shait up!!!

erik....ur rims are sweet and delicious!!! hahaha they looked sooo clean when u drove away...i wanted to hump ut car!!! hahaha....not they looked really really good!! As for the vibration the wheels will make the ride rougher, and it will vibrate untill u get them aligned...i say get an alignment and then see!!
Update: Just wanted to let u guys know that i succesfully installed the lip kit today
im soo happy...ill post pics asap!!

ya man post that shait up!!! I have the same problem, i got my rubs installed @ the same place, i only notice this going 120 to 130 then santrifical force makes it smooth again. all i need to do i get an alingment, i only noticed this after i put my springs on, but it was ok when i just installed my rims on stock.
I need my toe etc.. fixed

as for the vibration i never had that problem be4 but i think its either hub centering ring or alignement

Rep Power: 315 I need to fix my toe as well. the steering wheel is cockeyed when I drive...but this is AFTER an alignment. great.
they fixed the camber, which is all I cared about, so I'll do the toe. Not too tough.
so man, I played with the settings on my coilovers and I have a whole new respect for them If I dial in the front to be almost 100% stiff, the car is 110% neutral, if not a little tail happy. If I dial them in almost soft, then I understeer nicely.
