I asked the guy there if we could enter as a team if you guys are interested but all he said was "check with Ottawa sun for details"
anywayz, I am gonna go take my front bumper off for some white bulb install now.
and yay, I installed 2 way alarm/starter by my self, and it's running good~!

Guys I just got quoted from Frisbey Tire (I was just curious)
Spring install: "It will be 1 hour per spring and we charge $72.00 an hour." So I'm looking at $288.00 plus taxes. ... ... YA RIGHT!
this isn't even including the tire mounting which he said (depending on the rim) could cost anywhere from $17.00 - $36.00 a TIRE ... OR the wheel alignment. ***** it would cost me close to $500 to get everything done at Frisbey (on Vanier Parkway ~ East end)
So to Mike, Jim, Baller and WHOEVER HELPS! I REALLY hope you guys will install those springs for me! theres a 2-4 of
for all who helps!
I'd buy 2 2-4's if it saves me 300 bones!

DnarahP: d00d, no worries. If you help me install my coilovers, I'll help you install your springs. eye for an eye
it's really easy to do, so don't pay any baboon any amount of money to do it for you!!!

Eric I already told you we would help. All you have to do is rent a spring commpressor or see if someone inthe group has one. It is not a hard job and will save you some money. I think we might do the spring job at the install party as well so we can do it together. (thats if we get the springs by then) but even if we don't we'll still help.

Tek, Caryn, thanks guys.. *sniff*
YOUR ALL LIFE SAVERS

I hope I don't have to pay like 40 bucks a tire to get them mounted/installed/balanced .... b/c I KNOW I'll have to pay around 80 bucks for a wheel alignment.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE INSTALL PARTY!

ive even seen a guy de-compress the spring by kicking it!!! hahaha mind you it could shot up and nail you in the face, so a compressor is a much better decision!!

I can't wait for spring/summer. The big factor is that I only work like 4 days all summer. That means that I can now help Julian install thingsduring the day. I cant wait till friday meets start up again. BTW Eric do you know when you'll be working? Julian won't be able to make it Fridays cause he works nights so maybe
when Eric works on a friday we can change the meets to Saturday night so both him and Julian can make it? I think Taison would also like a little NOS boost on the stroller

gohanix: the type-S is 19mm...the premium is 17mm. BIG difference.
and...I installed my rear sway (22mm DC5 type-R) + ES mounts + endlinks the other day...it took me less than an hour
I also had to run out and get longer studs because I put a steel plate behind the ES mounts! Gotta love crappy tire.
DnarahP: I have a spring compressor...no worries. Unless you want to have some fun
hehehe
Depending on where we do this, I might be able to bring my air tools...not sure though. I'm pretty lazy
hehehe
also, I dislocated my shoulder not too long ago, so I can't physically do too much, but I've replaced springs/struts 4 times now, so I can do it in my sleep!
