very true.
it'd be nice to get some baseline figures for the car before I start seriously tuning it.
hrm.
well, perhaps if I save up for the engine swap...and also save up for an engagement ring...the GF won't be so upset that I'm wasting more money on the car?
hehehehehe

Array: nope! you can drive a bike! you just can't go on the four hundred series highways, and you can't ride half an hour after sunrise, or half an hour before sunset.
(dawn - dusk) kinda thing.
you also can't have passengers, can't have any alcohol...and I think that's the major ones. not sure if there are any more restrictions?

If your gonna winter drive the car get coil overs...Eibachs! That way you can raise the car a bit to make it easier in the snow.
damn, these dont fit 4doors

array: whatever you do DONT get the sleeved coilovers. The two metal pieces will rust out and u wont be able to adjust them anymore. I didnt think eibach made adjustable coilovers. I though they only make lowering springs. If u want functional coilovers u need to get the full thing, but they are nicely expensive. But im telling you dont get the sleeved ones....they suck ***

I agree with baller: go big or go home.
after having lowering springs, I can honestly say that they are ****.
I regret buying them, even though they make my ride look a bit cooler.
NOT WORTH IT!
get FULL coilovers (the ones in your link are sleeved coilovers). the ones that I want to get are stainless steel...go with something that has that amount of durability!
Player: d00d, if it's adjustable, it'll work on the sedan. the only difference is that the sedans rear needs larger springs to handle the extra weight in the back. it'll work, though.
that's why people who have big honkin systems in their trunk go with sedan springs/sleeved coilovers...it makes the rear higher, which is counteracted by the systems weight.

Im like wow are u blind....i have rear drums!!! It seems like everyone on this site is just here to make fun of other peoples rides. I just dont get it....nice fake rear rotors!!! who sais that!!!! especially when i have drums that are in plain view!!! IDIOT!! Why does everyone hafta hate on something thats not theirs.
some people are soo stupid....it makes me wanna puke. If u wanna see what im talking about look in my ride gallery and then under the "water Reflection" picture....this guy needs some serious glasses.

yah tek has it right....the lowering springs suck, because we cant replace our shocks with quality parts. If we had a 2000 civic then it would be a different story, but for our cars lowering springs suck, and sleeved coilovers suck. Those coilovers will rust so fast i cant even explain...so if u wanna drive it in the winter, but are still not patient enuf to save then just get regular springs...at least they wont rust out as fast.

Baller: don't worry about that guy.
he's a f*cking reject. he's trying to tell me that my projectors can be adjusted (the lowbeams), even though I don't have screws to adjust them.
he's telling ME that MY lights DO have these screws, even though I KNOW that I don't.
I gotta take a pic of it so that I can prove he's a tool.
what a nerd.
