sorry about not calling you back civic01. Our shop phone is actually a cell phone, so it sometimes goes unnoticed. I actually got your message on the boards before we got the voicemail.
The TIG welder also screws with the phone. Its pretty interesting.
anyway, i am glad we got things sorted out with the pipes.

I dont know if this has been taken into considerration before but I am just going to throw this out there one fabricator to another so people can realize how time consuming it is. When you build a kit like sf has built you have to take into consideration on how much work and time goes into it. You have to order all of the parts and alot of companies that I have dealt with require a minimum purchase before you order will go through and it could take a couple of weeks to receive an order then once you get the parts they could be wrong and I have felt pressure from people when this happens since they blame you for the delay when it was the supplier and then i takes more turn around time to get it fixed. Now take note on how many parts go into the kit and all of the different suppliers you have to go through to get parts turbos come from one place wastgates from another then you raw materials from some place else; it all takes time. Then you have to fabricate all of the parts the measuring twice cut once and all takes time especially on these one off kits. Then you can not rush welding or you will warp the tubing and the only thing you can do is toss it and pick another tube off the shelf cut it and weld again. Welding takes alot of time since when I weld I make sure if I am doing a bead I will weld a tube by tacking it to secure it and then weld it so that I space the welds far enough apart so not to warp it and then work my way around so the spaces I left will be cool when I get back around to weld them so no warping. This eats up alot of time but it is crucial to making a nice finished product so when people start to complain about the time it takes remember it is three guys working their hardest to build you a custom one off kit by hand and then think of all the kits they are working on. With this much work going on parts can get mixed up and the wrong tubes get sent to powdercoat but I know Mike and the rest of the SF team has bent over backwards and neglected their own personal lives to bring everyone the most for their money.

I got my spray in foam liner today. I found out that it takes 18 hours to completely setup.
With all future kits, the shipping cost will be $120 instead of $90. This stuff is expensive! But will keep your parts safe.

cat. tried sending you pms after the 4rth straight day of no responce and now the mailbox is full.....
my patience is ending and im about to call my attorney to see what can be done.
i wouldnt have posted this on the forums since you said you want to speak to the indivduals via PM's but ive tried that for the past 3-4 days and nothing and now your mailbox is full and can not accept any pms.
3400 is alot of money just like many other members have spent.
i was told when i first ordered 4-6 weeks
then an email on feb3rd that will ship in 7-10 days.
then on the 18th said have a tracking number for me by the 20th.
well its over 4-6 weeks, its over 7-10days, and its past the 20th.

I hope that the kit will be complete and in good quality, ie: no missing or broken parts.
i didnt want to have to loose faith or patience but under the circumstances
with the extended waiting, and misshaps with other members kits, i have become
very concerned.

McGriffen Motorsports (local shop), a couple friends of mine have their WRX's worked on there a lot, so they know the owner pretty good. i'm not expecting them to "hook me up" but he does good work.

Mr. Reyes, if you are seeing this. Please email me for your tracking number. Your kit is in the mail.
Kevin, yours is next, along with you 18sec.
i have talked to you both, so you both know where you stand and what the delay was for..
both of you email me on Tuesday for tracking numbers.
If any one else has any questions, please EMAIL me. I have been EXTREMELY busy lately, and reading through the forum takes too much time away from building parts and shipping parts out.
if you email me, i promise that i will email you back as soon as possible. I usually check my email 5-10 times a day. And i am usually on AIM late at night on thursday-saturday. Look for me there. CatalystCivic.
I will do my best to answer any questions you have, and im not an ***, so you can just IM me to BS if you want.
