Fitting the full size tire there, probably.
I was hoping also, to bring the amp below the floorboard, and cover it with plexiglass. Then stash some LEDs in there.
Making more room.
I was considering if I didn't use the rim as a full sized spare, that I'll take out the current spare tire, build a custom sub enclosure in that space, put a grill on top, and I'd have my full trunk to use again.

Mini DIY: RSX Sway Swap
Got my stock RSX sway 19mm today.
I was planning on going 21mm, but the 19mm was cheap enough for me to hop on it.
The ends were slightly rusted where the paint had come off.
When I got it
Decided to sand it down and paint it to prevent further rusting.
Used what I had in the garage, primer, primer sealer, and a little bit of white enamel.
No paint booth?
Ricer innovation!
Didn't have enough white to do multiple coats, so I just went with one thick coat.
Didn't get 100% full coverage though.
Here it is finished.
So time to take out the toothpick of a sway.
Size 5 hex key, with adjustable wrench will do; sockets will just turn the nut indefinitely. Do on both sides and take off the two mounts with 4 12mm bolts.
Compare the toothpick to the monster
Reassemble opposite of assembly.
Tada!
It feels a lot better in the corners now, body roll is significantly reduced.
There's still some, but it's manageable.

hahaha your painting process is funny, looks good, uhm question, you probably didnt notice this but did the 19mm sit closer to your exhaust than the 13mm did? thats why i'm worried about getting the 21, because my stock one is fairly close to my 3" exhaust pipe and if i hit a bump hard enough my stock sway bar actually rubs my exhaust pipe a little bit lol

You hang up the piece to be sprayed and spray it down.
The sway sits nowhere near my exhaust.
But that may be due to the exhaust being angled out.
Plus, I don't have 3" piping lol

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread
This was one of my favorite mods because it's cheap and you can notice a big difference in the corners.
You may want to look into upgrading your endlinks with something a little beefier like MOOG (w/ grease fittings). When I upgraded to the 19mm I didn't change my endlinks and when installing my Neuspeed sway & brace I found out that my stock links had snapped in half. Perhaps yours looked good and will hold up but in my case they didn't.

Got down there, end links were like new condition, not even seized (albeit, some rust on the end of screw).
Washed the bushings, and they were like brand new as well.

I'm ghetto with my 21mm.
I have a foam pad taped onto the bar so it doesn't hit the exhaust, lol
And I'll be rocking my stock endlinks until they snap and I veer off the road and die.
In which case, I'll be happy, because I won't have to work at Walmart anymore.

I clamped a piece of leather in my progress sway bar, but couldn't take the clank anymore so installed the smallest muffler i could find, so it would hang higher...

21 RSX should be OK accordingly to other members.
i personally use the progress which came with the reinforcements, but much more expensive and thicker (22mm)

Hard to find, but if you plan to buy it new, I think it's like $75 online.
If you can, at least upgrade to the 19, makes a world of difference.
New tires/rims, springs, sway, seafoam; I feel like it's a whole new car.
If I wasn't getting so much road noise, I'd swear I was in an old luxury car.

I'm pretty sure the 21 isn't going to tear the subframe out of an EM2.
That extra 2mm doesn't seem like much of a problem. The endlinks are bound to get destroyed though...eventually.

Painted my rear drums.
Didn't turn out as black as I thought it'd be.
But I sort of like this gunmetal gray type color.
Didn't get to do front calipers, will probably get to do them tomorrow.
