Kennykid2002's Build Thread
Since everyone's doin it, So will I!
2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe - Taffeta White
Dad worked in Honda for a while, bought car in 2002 brand new with 6 miles on it.
Got my car in 2008 (Sr. year of HS) with 39k on the clock.
Still bone stock
Dont have a picture of car in original, but here it is after i clay/wash/wax it

Since I got it, I installed a Sony deck, bought my JL sub that came with an Xplod amp.

Then me, being a retard, i put a bunch of LEDs into my car, and loads of stickers :P
This is my retardation at it's best

VTEC light

Decided to finally clean up my act...and my car...
Started by shaving all the useless crap off my car

Then decided change my grill to an altezza grill

Then saved up a little for some audio work
Got a pair of Polk DB651s coaxials, and a JL 500/1v2 amp

Pretty much it for major changes, I replaced a lock actuator, and my brakes, but that's about all the changes i've really done to my car

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread
Then today, I just got my header, and my tow hook in the mail, decided to slap em on
Dunno if i'm really digging the tow hook look on an EM2.
I'll prolly get rid of it later on...

Before:

During:

Out with the old, in with the...not so new >.<
Guy gave me shitty gaskets, so i just reused my OEMs

This is the bolt I snapped removing my heat shield from my stock header:

After:

Then,
I decided to replace the stock windshield wiper fluid tubing, since it was disgusting
Used some clear airline tubing from a local fish store LOL
Drove around today with it, doesnt seem to melt, so I guess it works

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread
Thinkin about upgrading to a proper AEM v2 CAI
I dont ever see enough rain over here for it to be a problem.
The new header's causing a lot of heat under the hood without a shield
But next thing on my list is currently replacing those Hawk pads, and getting new rotors.
The grinding is unbearable.
