Got it aligned, and man does it feel nice.
Pics will have to come whenever I have time after work.
Sun goes down at like 4:30 here now
Thanks, stance looks great.
It sits exactly how I want it.
Better than a dump truck

Cleaned up the ride, just before the rain comes in again.
Took off the rubber guard on the doors and wheel wells, gives the car a real clean streamline look.
Got some pix in!
Looking real good, I love how she sits, not so low that I can't get around places, but low enough to see a noticeable drop.
Only thing I really wish, was that the rim's offset was like 40, or even 35.
Anyways, here she is, in all her glory!

Looks pretty!
This has to be one of the freshest pre-facelift EM2s I've seen.
Can't wait to see if you have anything else planned for her!

Totally agree krud, and yeah it would look better down low, but at the same time its whatever kenny likes lol, my car is about to get a semi makeover.. i just wish all of my car's paint was this fresh lol, my side mirrors, both doors, and my roof could use a little repainting, the rest of the car has been repainted...... not mentioning why ;D lol

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread
Thanks bud.
My mind is telling me yes, but my wallet is telling me no.
It would look really nice tucked, though.
Thanks.
I do. I plan to dip the car completely flat white, but DYC can't sell gallon sized dip to Cali.
There are some other things floating in my head that I want done, but it'll stay like this until I plan out what my next steps are.

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread
Not up close.
Swirls and chips are ridiculous.
One of the reasons that motivate me to dip it is because I don't want to detail anymore =/
I want to be able to just foam down the car, and power wash it, and be done.
But, one thing that's really bothering me is the tail pipe.
I'm really considering looking for a used, but good axleback.

holy god that foam stuff they sell is hella expensive though lol, but it seems to do just the trick, and just hop on ebay and get u a 2.5" stainless axleback, my ebay exhaust is doing insanely good, outdid my expectations and it actually sounds good.

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread
Nah, I have a pressure washer.
I just need a foaming wand, and I'll use my own formula.
I've seen the axlebacks on ebay, not sure I want to cheap out on those rice cans.

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread
dude.. its not a bad idea ... lol i mean your car will still have a cat and a resonator so it wont sound farty, mine doesnt sound farty, its deep and kinda loud but 5000rpm and up sounds AMAZING but im running a header with a catless downpipe and a 3" catback... for now lol, 3" pipe = much too big for being Low...

Another main concern over ebay exhausts are carb issues, and police.
CHP notoriously **** when it comes to tuner cars, and cali has really strict smog regulations

Kenny could be a girl's name, just use your imagination!
Go for the HKS Hi-Power axleback. Looks nice, mounts at an angle, and sounds rather quiet. With only an axleback, you shouldn't have any problems passing a smog test.

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread

It's not passing the smog I'm worried about, it's that every modification requires an emissions badge.
Smog stations here wont even smog your car without one on each item.
My ghetto intake is good enough with a carb badge on it to fool most smog stations. But my header doesn't have a badge, so I have to replace it everytime i get smogged. Which isn't too hard, but a hassle.
I guess I could just get a generic axleback with no carb sticker, and swap it out for stock every time I've got to go smog; I mean, it's only once every 2 years.

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread
Oh ****...
I never liked angled exhausts, but I just did a quick search on CL.
I found the HKS one for $60....
Contacting the dude now.
EDIT:
It's pretty scraped up from being low, but no leaks.
Guy's busy, so we'll find out later today

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread
I'm sure it's not difficult to make it come out the back straight with some mounting adjustments. Worst case scenario, you'll just have to cut and weld a small section of it.
Smog tests? ...and what was that you were saying about California being a great place to live?

Re: Kennykid2002's Build Thread
The bottom is pretty busted up from being on a car too low.
The silver is tarnished, but oh well. $50 for a really good brand name exhaust.
It's going to be under the car anyways.
