Exclamation Power Windows not working

I own a 2008 Honda Civic EX sedan and I'm having issues with my rear windows. Idk what the problem is. I've changed the fuses, the window motors and regulators, still nothing. Before, I thought it may be the switches, but they were working fine before I switched out the fuses. It was just one window originally, but after switching the fuses, both rear windows stopped working. Don't know if anyone else has had this issue. Don't know if I should just suck it up and take it to a shop to get the electrical work looked at or if anyone has any suggestions.

Re: Power Windows not working

Is there a child lock out option? But even if there was you should be able to open them with the master switch up front?

Check the fuses again to see if the new ones failed as well.

After that you'll have to test the wires and switches. A multimeter and a test light work great.

For a quick test of the wires, just run two new wires from the master switch to the rear motor. Obviously check for voltage and ground connection at the master, as well as if the master switch closes.

Re: Power Windows not working

Well I went out and replaced the fuses for both the rear passenger and rear driver windows. Needless to say it fixed the issue, but I'm not sure if it's because I've let the car parked for over a month or if the fuses were the issue. Either way, got the windows to roll back up. Not taking the chance that wasn't the issue so I'm not rolling them down anytime soon. Thanks mac25
