Clutch Issues
Hey all, I have been having issues with my clutch recently and wondering if anybody has some advice. I have most tools and I am fairly mechanically inclined. Every once in a while I would have to double clutch to upshift, until recently the pedal has gone to mush (not failed completely). My last drive I had to clutch 4-5 times to upshift, and when I had it parked on a slight uphill the clutch didn't want to engage at all while starting it. I am hoping it's just the master/slave components in the clutch hydraulic, but not sure what exactly to look for. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Sounds like your slave cylinder may be failing, but it may be approaching time to replace everything anyway. What’s the mileage? Stock clutch to your knowledge?

more common to fail and easier to do would be the slave

Re: Clutch Issues
I just checked and it looks pretty wet under the slave. Although it the fluid level is at half, and I'm not sure what it was when it started. It did seem to happen all of a sudden though and not really a gradual thing.
