nope.. nothing is wrong.. if you are concerned with when it engages, bleed the clutch line.. the stock clutch is good for a while.. altho if you have an aftermarket one.. the clutch might engage like an inch off of the floor

Do your self a favor.... Ya know that pedal thats to the left of the clutch?? the one thats attached to the floor?? Rest your foot there when your not shifting... It will save your clutch. (I.e. Dont rest your foot on the clutch pedal when your not shifting, that causes slipage and extra wear on the clutch).
as far as when it engages/disengages.... well Performance wise you want the shortest through you can get, so if the cluch doesnt engage/disengage untill half the total throw of the clutch pedal then that means you dont need to push the clutch to the floor to shift... = speedier shifts.

your clutch sounds fine. WHen it gets to the point where the car takes a long time to engage, then it will be time to change the clutch. and yes, use that dead pedal, the "4th pedal".
