1st 3rd and 5th gear. Need ANSWERS!

So im having this issue with my car, but trying to get some ideas what's causing it. People have told me it's my fly wheel or my bushing for my shifter, shifter cable etc..

1st 3rd and 5th gear can slide up which it isn't supposed to. I ask one of my buddies mechanic and he's telling me that it's my bushings on my shifter. 2nd, 4th and reverse goes in nicely. When I shift it's goes in soft and weak. I swapped my motor to a D17A not to long ago and was thinking that he didn't rotate my fly wheel. Im clueless at the moment. Anything that you guys know or well fix this problem, well be totally appreciated!.. Forgot to mentioned that when he swapped my motor out. I needed a new clutch, so he installed that since it was easier to do when the motor is being replaced/.

The gears would go in, but I'll have to slowly push it into 1 3 and 5th. If I stomp on the gas pedal and try to shift it into the 3 gears it won't go into t

Well that eliminates at least one TSB.

See if the shifter linkage at the trans has come loose or a housing retainer clip is missing. Have someone work the shifter while carefully observing cable and linkage movements.

Idk what the dude did, but all he said was your clutch is going to be out soon, so you might as well change your clutch. I said yeah and he changed it, but I drove it for almost a month and then that just randomly happened when I was starting my car up before leaving work.
