I've got a leak that shows up in the floor wells both driver and passenger side that started this past winter. The carpet in both wells is constantly wet and I'm able to see water running down the side of the door frame once the door is open as well as the outside of the dashboard where it meets the door. I originally thought it was being directed down from a split in the door seal, I had run some ratchet straps through it during the summer to hold down a kayak and figured that was the likely culprit especially as the leakw as on both sides. I replaced that piece on both doors though and am still getting water intrusion. Is this a common Honda problem that anyone else has dealt with?
Is the thin door frame above the window bent from closing on a strap?
I have a leak that shows up in a similar spot. Rust along the top of the window lets water in from the driver's side top corner. It runs down the back of the A pillar cover and finally shows up by the hood release.

Thanks for responding, I checked under all the weather stripping to see if it was deformed, but it all looks clean. Unbent and unrusted. I'm wondering if its coming from the cowl on my vehicle.
I'm not talking about the metal being deformed, I'm talking about the entire window frame being bowed outwards preventing a good seal. Could easily bend it back if that's the case.
Sit inside the car and have a helper spray it down the the hose. You can attempt to trace down the source.
