02 Civic Ex Steering Knuckles on 02 Si - Alignment?

I had swapped the EX/EM2 knuckles into my EP3/Si, and I ordered some 16mm to 14mm reducing washers to make up in the bolt size difference. Now the problem is, my camber is crazy positive and I am wondering what the best way about straightening them out or even going more negative than OEM. From what I understand:

Coilovers would be the best route since I would be decreasing camber as I lower the car, I think I read about -.75 for every inch lowered. That, paired with camber plates would hopefully help me reach the -2 degrees overall I'm looking for. This would be the most expensive route and I also have other things in the car that need love, so cheaper would be better.

Lowering springs & camber plates may not reach the desired camber I am looking for (again, about -2). This would be cost effective.

Camber bolts wouldn't last more than a couple pot holes and make a negligible difference.

What would be the best way of getting the desired camber?

  1. Why did you change knuckles? damaged?
  2. Why did you use EX/EM2 ones?

Both bearings went bad on me and luckily(?) my EX just died on me so I decided it would be cheaper to swap them since they were still good.

since they are out,, take the knuckles to a machine shop and have the bearings installed, assemble them back to the car.
correct the source of the issue, don't band-aid what is wrong, it will mend in wrong ways
