No problem... but keep in mind it's a small home-garage... with bicycles, toys, garbage can, toys, lawn mower, toys, snow blower, toys...

Maybe I should leave the Biotech industry and open my own Ghetto speed shop!
Maybe I'm too "dazed and confused" still ..
Though only project of mine would be putting the car back into summer mode - ie reinstalling coilovers.

The other projects are basically ICE department - which I'll have to try and decide to narrow down as time approaches.

Well, perhaps we'll have a meet and you'd actually have your car running But yeah, spring is still a little ways off so plenty of time to wait/dream
Going into a 98 EK hatch.

I guess last summer I faced a few ''growing pains'' with the D17 and tranny.

But I'll whip your a$$ this spring riding around or at the track.

At least last night was fun - talking about after 10ish when the roads and parking lots were dead. Though I really shouldn't abuse my car like I did

But it isn't as bad as it has been.. but I wish it was like Wednesday weather and getting better with every day

Just for your info, NoRedline Motorsports is looking for sponsors, if you know race fans with companies who can profit from great exposure, like the G-Prix de 3-Rivières for example let me know.

You don't know me very welll, as I can see!!! You are 300$ over!!!

I paid only 200$

The guy was asking 400$ with almost brand new tires on it. The tire were too small for a 7thgen... but I guy was interested just by the tire... so we splitted the price!!!

They are a bit scratched, but not that bad... Here's what I will do with them (I felt in love with the fat five when I saw these ones in the for sale section...)

What do you think? It will be sick or what!

Now I need some wheel paint and good 205-60-15 tires!!!

But, you were right these wheels are usually sold at 400$-500$ without tire... so I can make some profit if I change idea!!!

I want some 205/60/15... I dunno yet what to take...

I want a "V-thread" (mostly for look! =rice ), something with a better handling then OEM, but that will not die in one season!

Don't wanna spend too much also...

So, something "Nice/good/cheap"

Any suggestion?

I was thinking, that model of mag is leke the 4 door SI....

Like me, Yokohama AVID H4... mine cost $150 the tires but they were 17" low profile, so yours should cost less

http://www.yokohamatire.com/TireIntro.asp?TireID=48

I's not super aggressive but they have a good look and stay for long + it a 4 seasons... (not good in snow and ice unless you like drifting)

Yeah they look like the 04-05 Si wheel... but, I think they are lighter however (GSR fat five = 16lbs)

My friend have some H4, and he is happy with them... will see.

What does Honda carry?

Yokohama Avid H4S last years retail price $110 + $12 per wheel for recycling thing... Surely could have them for less... Check it out!

I'll keep a look-out Jim, but well if I knew that I'd probably know someone to sponsor my car so I can mod it more

Nice pick-up for sure Hans. Though get to work otherwise the wifey might kill you

The H4S is a good tire .. there are possibly others out there, but no real experience with them to compare to so

Yep. For sure, other marks surely exist but they are the entry of the performance tires...

Yeah I know...

But, you gave me a doubt... are they black or Gunmetal? I thought they were black...

I went by some DIY on wheel painting, some people start by sanding the wheel to the bare metal (removing the OEM finish), then it's primer, paint + clear. It's look like a hell of a job! The sanding part look so long...

On other DIY, people are just spraying the primer directly on their cleaned wheels and then paint them the color they want + clear coat...

Not sure how I will proceed... I will first clean them careful and check there real state.

It's not a show car, so I think I'll go the lazy way! I will try to paint one wheel first (one with scratches) without sanding and check the final result. If I am happy with it I'll do the other ones, if not, well... I will sand it to the bare metal then do the other!!!

what do you think?
