back than yes his car was rice, your point? now he just has a kit, no tilted hoods, no ebay tails or fogs, no craptastic flake paint and he is making over 400hp and that kid is making 100hp

My point is just that we've gone from calling cars with broken *** kits and cardboard wings rice to now calling everything we just don't happen to like rice.
Basically if the car isn't stock, it's rice somehow. And even then I've seen people call a stock 7th gen with an oem spoiler rice for having the spoiler. I don't think OEM can be rice.
But at the rate this is going I guess my car will end up here next because I have TYC headlights and I'm installing underdash neons. Whatever.

shoulda seen the rice i saw today, wish i had my camera, was driving back to work on lunch break, and saw what looked like a 2000 cavalier, with a widebody kit and vinyls, i almost **** myself laughing

yea, i dunno about the thread getting unlocked, Rennen doesnt usually go back on thread closures, people just cant seem to stay on topic, if we kept on topic and stop post whoring, it wouldnt happen, but ur car is borderline rice, thats not to say it wasnt done well, or i dont like it, but its borderline rice
Sometimes I really think some of you people have lost sight of what 'rice' really means.
This guy obviously put in the money and time and did his car right. You may not like some of the aesthetics, but that alone doesn't make the car rice. I think he did a good job on the car. If he put the kit on and didn't paint it, it would be rice. If the car was a rusted piece of **** with NOS in the back, it would be rice.

first off i dont have a tilted hood it opens just like yours doose and my tails arent some crappy chrome ebay 1ns.and my paint isnot IS NOT FLAKY it is a pearl paint job ok and i am not making 100 hp more like 160.and soon to be making 300.What you dont realize is that i have only just started on my engine so yea dood chill out cuz half the crap you just said was "CRAP TASTIC" I dont even fricken have fog lights or a tilted hood my gosh

So here is another Alpha 5 submission of Local rice.
This was spotted in Sherman tx.
Notice in the first and the second pic there is a truck parked next to the NEON. Then in the 3rd and the 4th it is gone. As I was taking pix of this thing an older lady walked up to the truck. she said "do you like that car?' I replied "No, this car looks horrible" inquisitively she said "then why are you taking pictures of it?" again I replied "Because mam, I have intentions of posting them on the internet in an ugly car web page" she said with attitude "WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO SOMEONES PRIVACY?" I replied with attitude "PRIVACY WHEN OUT THE WINDOW WHEN THEY LEFT THE TRAILER PARK!" . She then got in the truck and left. lol

Those were all jokes I thought. Also, like it was mentioned earlier, try and actually take pictures of LOCAL ricers. I know Long Island has no shortage. It is just very rare that I actually have a camera with me at the moment.
