sorry for the shitty quality pictures of that red civic a few posts up. It was snowing and it was my phone camera. But that thing was ****ed up! cracks everywhere and just one hubcap missing on the rear passenger side. The "scoop" was also filled with snow.

I never considered painted brakes to be rice at all. In fact I think you should do that so it looks cleaner with any rims that would have them showing. With that color car I would have probably went with black though. That is all up to preference though.
