Maybe it's because I am new to this forum... but can someone please explain to me what your definition of a "ricer" is? I just bought a Civic less than a month ago, and came here to help me install the a/c parts some punk kid took off to make the civic go faster. So, just so everyone knows, I'm not here to start crap but you all do know that to everyone who doesn't drive imports you are all ricers/rice rockets? It is funny to me that in this forum people break it down even further by who is a ricer and who is not based on what? Some of your all's cars look worse than the ones you're making fun of... makes no sense to me. Please explain, like I said...I'm new here... maybe I just don't get it. I'm still trying to figure out this forum, I tried to upload a pic of my car, just to see if it is a "ricer"... doesn't matter to me either way. I like it, and I built it the way I wanted to.

It has been a common term. Most people use it for any foreign car, which is wrong. It is for an import that looks fast, but is slow. OR an import which is slow or fast, but looks like a space ship or a mexican float on thanksgiving. Your car does not look like rice.

What we define a "Ricer", is just an import car with ridiculous body kits, some decals, underglow, and probably a big spoiler that it absolutely doesn't need.

For rice rockets, we usually refer to those as the import cars that sound stupid loud because of their fart cannons but their car are slower than golf cart.

When we say "import" we refer to "rice" as Asian, because Asians eat rice. So it implies that it's pretty much all Japanese cars.
