Was the head resurfaced to make sure everything was level?
Any missing gaskets? maybe around the cam gear.

All the gasket are new. It is leaking in between the block and the head. I might take it to the dealer.

Don't take it to the dealer they will charge you an arm and a leg. The problem mostlikely is that the head was not resurface on the bottom (where it attaches to the block). Thats if they sent you a different head that was warped.

If not try to re-install it to correct torque specifications.

I did re-install it and torque it down with specifications. When I frist put the head on I pour the oil in and it start leaking from the cam gear side.

Well if you are sure that you got your head back (The one you had on originally) and that it was resurfaced, and that the gasket you used is the proper on and its not defective. Then take it to a mechanic.

But I'm willing to be you some... hmmm... Points that it is something with the head needing to be resurfaced or the head gasket is defected.

I installed many heads before and that is usually the problem.

Anyways this is a pointer. Torque everything to specs then run the engine, let it warm up then let it cool down. Once is cool make sure that all bolts are torque to proper specs. Some times the expanding and contracting effect that occurs given temperature changes affects the torque on the bolts.

But like I say the problem I think is in the head base or the gasket you are using. (This if what you say is correct that the leak occurs in between the head and the block)

I am going to call Kms on monday and see if they resurface it or not. I am going to try the warming up thing and seeif it works. How do I know if the gasket is defected?

First make sure that it is the proper one. Make sure that every, hole that needs to be there is there. About it being defective some times you can't tell, some times there are hair like splits or cuts that are not visible. But by say it seams like there is lots of oil leaking therefore I'm leaning more towards a warped head.

But 1st thing is first. Call up KMS and make sure that it was resurfaced.

Yeah if the head was not resurfaced or is scored, you will have leaks. Make sure the bottom is smooth with no cuts. You'll probably need another gasket if you pulled the head again, so order a new one just to be sure.

Another thing--I'm betting you didn't use new head bolts because they're $10 each for 10 bolts total = $100. Well those are stretch bolts and must be replaced. There is also a certain pattern required to put the bolts on correctly. You follow the pattern and tighten them little at a time, then go again and torque them to spec.

But I'm betting it's the 10 bolts you reused. My head is not leaking at all, and I used new gaskets and bolts.

I did buy a new gasket but I reused the bolts. Well if jon say he resurfaced my head then I will go buy new bolts. If it still leaks Then I will take it to the dealer. Damn This is f**k up.

gearbox is correct; you need to use new bolts. I had assumed that you used new bolts to install your head.

^ That would be a good idea. Your saying it is coming from the cam? Is it leaking before you start the car, while it is running, or after you turn it off?

pull the valve cover and take a look at the cam seal, you may just need to fix that. Buy a new one regardless, its cheap insurance. Also make sure the valve train/ rockers are tightened down correctly.
