My KMS P&P head
 

Here are some before and after pic's. I am getting my car dyno and tune on july 10. I will post my data on july 11. The head is a stage 2 p&p with titanium retainers and racing springs. I will posts pic of my TB when I get it back and that would be on wednesday.

The pic's are up now. And the tb is bore to 65mm. I will have pic of th tb when I get it this week.

yeah im curious as to how much hp you will gain i cant wait till you post back on the stats. Hurry up!!! haha

John at KMS told me that I will gain 20% hp if I do not tune it. He said like 40% if I get it tune rite.

what kind of ECU/fuel system modifications are needed to tune a setup like this?

The people that are tuning my car said that the stock fuel rail and injecters are fine. I am using a safc.

Everything was 1125 shipped and a 3 week wait.

who did the work? Local job?

Well engine work is different than a im. I just wait and see the dyno chart to tell the truth.

yeah I rmember that the $500 intake manifold from KMS with short runners.

people lost out power on the bottom end.

looks like it is only good for trubo users who want a bulletproof IM.

Those ports don't look much bigger than stock IMO. Hopefully it will give you some gain.

How much did u gain from the dh head?

Well by itself, I didn't notice much difference. I've since put on an intake and added more fuel with a vafcII and noticed a bigger gain. I really need to tune it on a dyno to see the best result. But the DH ports are alot bigger than KMS. Still bigger may not necessarily be better in terms of exhaust flow velocity.

Did u change the timing belt when u put the head on?

Exactly. the KMS IM was a dissapointment for the N/A people, but FI is a different story...John seems to do pretty good work from what I have seen...I bet the P&P job is better than the DH by far

I am still waiting for the tb everybody. Once that come in I am good togo.
