Do you remember that one guy, cwick something. He had the raceworks pnp with 5 angle valve job and some boltons. He made 140whp, which is basically stock SI numbers. Just don't make the exhaust ports too big like mine are, and don't polish the intake ports. They should be rough.

sspem2 01-05-2005 12:36 PM

car is runnin great. the moment i started it, it cranked and no problems, leaking, etc. theres not a huge gain but i feel i did gain just a guess maybe 8-10 whp maybe more. cant tell from a butt dyno i do see the rpms move much faster as i shift, the rpms just climb. also my exhaust is much deeper tone now. it was my first time doing such a job and im so proud. :D if you need help puttin it on pm me with any questions and gearbox to. he helped me out alot. thanks again.

ricergribbs 01-05-2005 12:53 PM

^ nice, now get a dyno!!! we want numbers not butt guesstimates!

sspem2 01-05-2005 01:31 PM

no point wastin money doing a dyno with my head, i/h/e. i did my head for insurance purposes so when i go turbo within 2-3 years and also internals ill be able to run high boost and dont have to worry about blowing shyt up.

What kind of cash flow did it take for what you did siksivik? You dont have to answer if you dont want to. I dont like asking how much to people. Dumbf***s come up to me and ask straight up, "How much money did you spend on your car?" Im like 30,000 man! back to point, just curious as to what I need to save up for something like what you have done. Want to nitrous my car, but want to do a little work first.

It was like 1350 shipped with the bore tb.

sspem2 01-05-2005 02:54 PM

ive spent 600 on the head. hookup ;) ive spent about near 24,000 on my car. thats with sponsorships so i get stuff at cost or sometimes free so if i did pay full price ur lookin near 30 grand. custom paint, volks, fully fiberglassed trunk, lambos, nx kit, direct port, purge, more and more.

2K1Civic17"Gabe 01-05-2005 03:01 PM

Im talkin about the headwork. Im hoping for under 1,000. Im actually gona eventually do custom paint, custom fiberglass trunk (after that maybe my dash), nx kit, and bunch of goodies for it. got my paint hookup, which is the most expensive. Should be cheap, and very good paintjob.

gearbox 01-05-2005 03:02 PM

Over 1k. Port work 740, new gaskets/bolts/fluids 180, install 250 (cheap!) and some other stuff.

sspem2 01-05-2005 03:05 PM

you said how much i spent on my car then you said about 30,000 so im thinking the whole thing. i spent

$600- head
$101- arp headstuds
$200- fluids, gaskets, etc
free(me and friend)- install

jrock2324 01-11-2005 05:01 PM
