Slow crank no start.

Hello I have a 1999 Honda civic hatch, the person I had bought it from geto wired in the radio so I redid the radio wiring and now the battery light is on and the car cranks super slow, like the battery is almost dead, hooked up the jump pack nothing, new battery nothing. I changed around some relays and nothing. Checked all fuses and grounds nothing. Is there some sort of safety or something I’m missing? Any input or thoughts will help greatly

Re: Slow crank no start.

If it worked before you touched the wiring you need to check your work. Battery light with engine off is normal, with the engine running it usually means that the alternator isn't charging. Only use an oem alternator

I’ve checked over the wiring with a fine tooth comb and nothing is different from when I started, except I actually added connectors other than them just being twisted together.

it won’t start so I wouldn’t be able to do that, it just clicked I had a ticking and that all the bolts that hold the rockers in where loose, they seated down pretty far and I’m sure the valves are open so it basically has no compression gonna relash them like I should have after I tighten those bolts
