mystery power lossage

Question mystery power lossage

so im driving down the road and the radio cuts off.. then the entire car. the battery is dying and i need to jump start it everytime to start it even after charging the battery.. any idea what the problem.. i believe its something to do with the radio bc its aftermarket but not sure.. any suggestions would help

sounds more like an electrical connection problem, have you checked battery connections,if so check the alternator? maybe its not charging your battery, i dont think the radio itself can kill your battery aftermarket or not,but thats just my opinon.

I would guess that some wires are crossed or exposed on the headunit causing the battery to drain/short out? Did you install the hu yourself? Other than that I would check what atbjr suggested
