help me out please! forgot about court

i got a ticket a while back and posted before about it and it was an exhaust ticket saying that i was using a device causing excessive noise. i had all this stuff to do and totally forgot about my court date which was the 25th of this month. it was only a 60 ticket and no points and forgot about the date. what should i do? whats gonna happen? i was reading that i would get my liscence suspended if i didnt appear but how long does that last for? or what can i do to get out of it. this is bothering me and i just need some help.

Re: help me out please! forgot about court

I dont know what its called but when my buddy got a ticket, he had to go to this small court where the judge was actually pretty cool, and not an *** like you would have though. Anyways, before you went in you had to talk to this lady that looked over your paper work and set u up. This lady, I dont know what her professional title, but she had a lot of knowledge. I think she was also the same lady that you paid if you were found guilty. I'm sure there are more of these ladies at otiher courts, but I dont know for sure. Thats all I can say. Show up instead of calling up. The additude that I felt in your post is a good thing, shows that your scared/worried of the consequences, which is the point of a ticket and shows you learned your lesson. Go in there with that additude and you should be able to excapt some big consequences that you might otherwise face. Good luck.
