Personally...gotta give props to 01wingswestcivic for handin out so much info there. I'm sure it's extreeeeeeemely helpful to those that are new. And i must agree....please people do your research before doin the n2o. SUre it's cheap HP...but it aint as simple as floor it and go.
I personally have been dyin to bump up to a 75....and am losing my head looking for a DIY on how to retard my timing. If anyone can help it would be much obliged. Right now....i'm lookin into gettin some bigger injectors, and retardin the timing and perhaps a tuning session for the v-afc before i bump it.

Wow i just read the whole thread...
Just had a quick question for 01WWCiv. since it seems to me he knows what he's talking about and I like the idea non turbo/spray-only-when-u need it approach to the modification of the engine, i just wondered what steps are you taking (u and your shop) to beef up the engine to handle 100 shot, since I dont see any engine internals out on market for our cars....well I think i've seen some forged pistons, but thats it. So...whats your battle plan
?

damn, i thought this thread was dead. living in the great state of kentucky, believe it or not theres not an array of top notch shops in the area. ive been traveling to indiana for work on my car, and as good as they are, i wouldnt let them fab any new parts for my car. as of right now im waiting to see what gets developed, tested, and whats proven before i invest any money into the engine. ive been contimplating turbo, in which case a 55 shot is all i would run, but at the same time i dont know if the vic is worth dumping another 3-4 grand into, when i could just buy a new car.
in conclusion, i just dont geographically have access to a shop capable of what i want to do. you people on the west coast are lucky to have some of the skilled people out there you do. right now im just playing the waiting game, gonna see how that p/p turns out that catalyst (i think it was) has been talking about. im hoping our cars will start getting some attention from big companies now that we've proven theyre not the slugs they were made out to be.
any other questions... shoot and ill do my best to answer them

hes not really apt to shearing much information.
i just wanted to say also that im far from an authority on nitrous and what not. this is really the first car ive modded, i just read, read, read, and read some more, apply what ive learned to real-life applications, and learn from experience. theres such a wealth of information not only on the internet but right here on this site and i think we're lucky to have it.
and detox, i still havent recieved any info back from haltech, and about the kms manifold, ive heard not such good things about it.
and thats actually sad that people don't want to share information on what they have and have not done with their car. this whole site's purpose was to bring a lot of the vic's together and share information due to the lack of info elsewhere. so why come on here and act so selfish for those who don't understand whats going on? don't forget you were there too and people helped you out in some form or fashion to get what you needed done. It's a prime example why kazaa is down also because people are so selfish. download what they want and then stop sharing that file. wings west your great on the info and ive learned a lot from you man. thanks. for the rest of you that get so annoyed with people asking you question on learning the fugg you

I think sometimes people just don't want others to have what they have or be as successful at it therefore they refuse to share information.
I know I for one have no objection to answering questions and helpin out others when it comes to things i may be more versed in.
FYI if anyone has n2o questions i'm more than happy to answer to the best of my knowledge as well.

at least there are some people not afraid to share their information. and eventually once you think about it... a lot of people will thank you in the end and most of the time won't forget what you did for them. but like you said racer chick people are thinking first about the consequence of their self first before trying to help others and reap the rewards that helping others bring 7thgen Man-gina
