I'm not ragging on anybody. I just think it would be more useful to look at the Nitrous FAQ. SO yah im such a d!ck.
If someone plans on running nitrous, i give them a thumbs up and a pat on the back. Nitrous is the most fun i have had with my car. But when fools spread their cheeks and start talking outta their asses about the fuel systems, dry/wet, how much of a shot to run, when they dont know ****.
So take your boyfriend's **** out of your ***, take a deep breath, and stop being such a internet f@g.
Am i the Jesus Christ of Nitrous? NO. But at least i know what i'm talking about, and if i dont, i keep my mouth shut.

Cool, just checkin'
I hear you on checking the FAQ, but that things is in need of a serious overhaul. Most of the stuff in there looks like it came from a general Honda nitrous FAQ and an FAQ from the N.O.S. site. Almost none of it applies to our cars. If we are gonna push people to use it, we should make sure that it's accurate.
The first page refers to adjustable fuel pressure regulators, aftermarket fuel pumps, and Toda cams. Obviously the author did not have our cars in mind.

I've been reading through this post and i never realized how many misconceptions and misinformation and just plain confusiion there is about n2o on our cars.
Personally...gotta give props to 01wingswestcivic for handin out so much info there. I'm sure it's extreeeeeeemely helpful to those that are new. And i must agree....please people do your research before doin the n2o. SUre it's cheap HP...but it aint as simple as floor it and go.
I personally have been dyin to bump up to a 75....and am losing my head looking for a DIY on how to retard my timing. If anyone can help it would be much obliged. Right now....i'm lookin into gettin some bigger injectors, and retardin the timing and perhaps a tuning session for the v-afc before i bump it.

all you need to do in order to retard the timing is turn the cam sprocket. 75 shot and youre pushing it.

Its not that simple on our cars. If you retard the timing with a simple cam sprocket, our ecus will advance it, and usually throw the timing off. The only way that I have heard of to sucessfully retard the timing is with the JET chip. I personally have no experience with the JET chip, so I cannot give a first hand account of its abilities.
