I don't think they will put k series in their. I think it is new version of engine called "R?" series or something. 1.8L 140hp SOHC i-VTEC motor.

well i have a k20a3 from a base rsx but if i get just a k24a2 engine that means i'll have lots of parts for the swap. IM,TB,ECU, tranny.

edit: wait a sec... i don't think the ecu will work

When I originally put an Accord motor in my car I use the stock intake manifold and T-body. I had to remove some metal around the hood latch support to allow clearance. This would also work with a TSX manifold since it's the same and you can bolt an Accord T-body to it.

Since my TSX engine will be turbocharged and I put a 2005 front end on my car, I mounted a Type S manifold and T-body on the K24A2 so there are no clearance issues.

If you are NA, it is better to have the TSX manifold and an Accord T-body on the engine. You loose a bunch of midrange with the Type S, Type R and Accord Euro R manifolds.

K-pro is what we use because the other ECU's are not really compatible wi the 01 up Civic electrical.

We also use an EP or RSX harness. The only thing that needs to be modified on the harness is the knock sensor plug and crank angle sensor plug need re-pinned.
